In 1944, Edgar Cayce prophesied that Russia would help prevent the destruction of mankind. He foresaw a future world financial crisis, and he pointed to Russia as being the "thorn in the side" of the financial powers that were organizing themselves against the good of humanity, describing Russia's role as being the "hope of the world":

"In Russia there comes the hope of the world, not as that sometimes termed of the communistic, or Bolshevik, no; but freedom, freedom! That each man will live for his fellow man! The principle has been born. It will take years for it to be crystallized, but out of Russia comes again the hope of the world.

It would be wonderful if that's what's happening over there but if nothing else, it looks like Vladimir Putin has cured COVID. New York State will be lifting the mask mandate on schools and New York City will soon follow.

Russia is a mixed bag, to say the least. I can't justify any of this Ukrainian war (there are numerous threads on here about that where we can discuss it, but they seem to have had a revival of Christianity which goes deeper than just appropriating Orthodoxy to Russian nationalism, and they have fought back against wokeness.

Russia is turning back to Christ and the west is turning away, this probably has consequences.

Wow this has become an interesting thread. We have been seeing prophecy fulfilled in rapid succession. This is just another huge part of it. It's like we are seeing what I remembered hearing about often 30+ years ago. Russia was a huge part of the discussion. I remember going into high school and the first missionaries going into Russia. I knew then that even though things would get really bad again there would be silver linings. Lots of really good points here from everyone. We are witnessing events in history I wasn't sure. I was going to see in my lifetime until about 20 years ago I figured it would be in my lifetime.

btw russia is turning from Christ like all other nations including the US . . . they used to be real catholic but most do not live christian rules . . .however, I think that Putin still does not allow abortion supported by the government . . .
