Interesting story of The Pirate Bay

Post by Fred »

For those that may not know, it has been the site to download pirated software for many years. Need a copy of windoze but lot your certificate of authenticity? Just get a free copy. Course sometime bad people added virus, so you need to unzip on an isolated machine. Or at least be careful. Some were able to save a few frand on Adobe's latest creative suite.

I miss your old avatar Fred, but your new one will grow on me, and if you like it, that's what matters. I'll check out this video.

Grid of green the same shade as the Backyard Professor wore.

Speaking of which, I missed his show, but prolly was an Abraham Sequel when the first didn’t really hold my attention anyway. Maybe next week will be good.

He has a cool green chessboard too. 8-)

What are the characters at the bottom, near the waist line?

The woman that drew it said she was reading my aura. So it is more personal than the Flintstone character. She said I was a good listener and my unkempt hair reminded her of Einstein. The shirt is what I was wearing. The mustache and glasses are real. So I suppose that is what I really look like.

I bought cab's book, We must be born of God, with a Mighty Change, and I figured my avatar could be born again, also. So I'll see how it goes. They say a change is as good as a rest.

I do have a green chess board. Several actually. The signature at the bottom is her pen name. Pine Vanilla.

Just for fun I went to:
https://thepirate-bay.org/en/

and typed in Adobe Creative Suite. Thousands of available free downloads including any version. Of course the safest download is from Adobe itself. Then all you need is the key. Get the key from The Pirate Bay and you have free software. Course I don't recommend pirating illegal software.

I knew a guy one time that needed an accounting program.

Over the years, I generally go with Open Source when I can. I actually pay for Adobe. I get the photographer package for $10 a month.

Some people like to try an expensive program before they lay out the cash. I find it interesting that Pirate Bay may never die.
