Show your displeasure by not showing them your money.

I will simply do what I always do. I will ignore the issue completely. The dogs bark, but the wagons keep going. When they do it, you will see the beginning of the downfall of that show. Also the scriptures say the wicked punish the wicked.

The most surprising part to me is that people are still watching HBO.

Thanks a lot Tom Hanks (producer) and team for the exploitation and irreverence! This presents my wife and I with a dilemma. We started watching this show before we converted. We've enjoyed it, for the most part, less so since we've returned to the church...though it has an interesting interpretation of our beliefs (mostly off target though) and polygamy. We don't have cable, but rather we download via torrents, so we aren't lining anybodies pockets. But as we prepare to enter the temple soon, I cannot watch this episode at the very least. Perhaps I shouldn't watch Big Love at all anymore? Maybe it's a 'spirit-chaser'?

I would agree. Now, I haven't seen the show and don't intend to. However, there are things that are sacred and should not be degraded through the mire of public television. My advice, dump the show. Our TV watching has definately gotten less and less as more and more shows use offensive language, nudity, and permiscuousness as the norm.

Perhaps we are "pruds" but I feel alot closer to the spirit than when we watched TV without discrimination. If you do watch this episode, just understand that when you go to the temple, this show will stick in your mind and Satan will have an opening. Flashbacks will happen....so please be careful of what you put in head.

The church made an official comment to this episode. You can see it if you go to lds.org and then click on news releases.

We don't watch commercial television out here so I have never seen the show you mention.

I do recall reading or hearing an interview with the director before it was syndicated on HBO. Not that it matters (or does it...), the director is homosexual.

It is probably wise for us to 'get out of Babylon' lest we 'be partakers of her sins'.
