Hello friends. No pressure whatsoever, just putting this out here because it may help someone.

I’m letting you know about my little self-published book on Amazon on the doctrine of being “Born of God”, with heavy emphasis on how the doctrine is taught in the Book of Mormon and New Testament. It’s not meant to be exhaustive - merely an introduction to what the scriptures call “the gate”.

If you’re like me, maybe you’ve been looking for a resource on this topic that you could share… I ended up attempting to write what I couldn’t find anywhere. But I warn you I am not an author…. I kept it short and digestible and shareable with members of the Church (i.e. not antagonist). It is actually more of a treatise than a book at just under 100 pages of large font. I priced this at the bare minimum Amazon allows and will make no money off it. I have chosen to keep it anonymous, as I’m a nobody and want the message to speak for itself.

I am simply passionate about this topic, having experienced a mighty baptism of fire many years ago, and only come to understand it within the past few years. The doctrine of Christ in the Book of Mormon has truly come alive for me, and it’s everything to me. I love the Lord and I am grateful to have something to share with my family and friends… I hope it helps even just one other person come to the Lord.

To me this doctrine represents the core of what Jesus considered the sure foundation. His rock, church, and gospel. Building upon it - seeking to plant Jesus within one’s heart and faithfully awaiting the promised miracle of spiritual rebirth - is what I consider the most worthy pursuit in our lives.
What saddens me more than anything is when people become disillusioned with the church and then lose all faith in the Lord. It’s evidence they were built upon a sandy foundation to begin with. Jesus is the only sure foundation. He is the path. The way. The rock. The seed. The rod. The truth.

So I gotta tell you Cab, my temple loving TBM Pops LOVED this book/message. He said it's a MUST read for any and every Mormon. Pops said especially because the message/book is basically straight up scripture. He got the kindle version and would encourage all TBMs to have a sincere reading and reflection after reading it.

Cab, the message, the doctrine, is just so real to me. This topic, I can drag it on and on and just go on and on about it and by the end not do it any justice. It's the type of thing you MUST experience for oneself. So I'll leave Christ's Doctrine at that, and I just share a part from the book that got me good, starting at 'Expanding on...':

Thanks brother. I can attest that many parts were delivered by the Holy Ghost and are scripture to me.

And I’m so grateful that some TBMs are finding the message to hit home.

Born again conversion experiences are similar in many ways and have common characteristics as you write about in your book which I highly recommend!
I too as a nominal Roman Catholic ( just going thru the motions) was desperate to find true peace and joy surrendered my everything to Jesus on Jan 6th 1986. Admitting my sins and my need for a Savior , I gave my life-all that I was, to Jesus asking for forgiveness of my sins and asking Him to
Come into my heart as Savior and Lord of my life. With that little faith , I was able to surrender all and totally rely on the Holy Spirit to guide my life. I did not know what to
Expect but I began to weep tears of repentance, joy of forgiveness and happiness that I felt as if all my sins were washed away. I was delivered from profanity immediately, had a great desire to read the Bible - reading John 3:16 for the first time in my life I wept because I fully understood The Lord’ s and that I had been saved by grace - the merits of his atonement. I have had a 24/7 consciousness of the Lord since that day, loved the Lord with all my heart,had great desire to serve the homeless and told every one about Gods love for them- I could go on but my life turned 180 degrees to loving and serving others for the glory of God.

Bottom line - one must totally surrender everything to Christ and receive Him humbly to guide your life through the Holy Spirit!
