Great deal on a quality firearm

Post by rocky »

Exercise your 2nd Amendment rights!!

For those looking to get a firearm, this is a great pistol, and at a great price.

Image

They are listed here:

http://www.classicarms.us/
CZ-82.....$199.95......... 3 OR MORE........$189.95
HAND SELECT ADD $10.00

I think they are also listed on a few other sites.

I bought mine at Aimsurplus.com but they have already sold out...

You would need to have it shipped to an FFL. The price would be slightly more since you will have to pay shipping (probably $20 or so), plus transfer fee ($25 or so), and possible background check as well ($5-25 most likely).

Quality Czech guns used by their military and police for decades. Very well made, excellent value.

These guns are chambered in 9x18. You can buy ammo online and at most gunstores, probably not at Wal-Mart though, but it is still priced similar to regular 9mm (9x19).

At these prices, there is simply no excuse for someone to not own a decent quality pistol for their own personal or home defense. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

Hope you guys found this helpful. Let me know if you have any questions.

Yes they are good guns, Rocy. Try the CZ-52 though, or the romanian tokerav. It is a better round.

Your post is more compact though.

The CZ-52's and the Toks are a better round, but harder to get and most of it is corrosive.

Plus, the CZ-82 is a more modern design with a lot better features and a better CCW gun as well.

I've heard they are a copy of a German pistol, a Walter, made on equipment seized during WWII. It is supposed to be a great pistol, though I have no first hand knowledge. I am leary about the ammo availability. I don't think any government uses that cartridge any more. If you buy one, buy a lot of ammo for it before it becomes scarce, if it hasn't already. You can buy reloading dies for it and cast your own bullets for it. I don't know about brass for it. Can you squeeze down and trim a regular 9mm casing for it? I don't know. Because it is a semi auto, you would have to chase your brass to reload it.

I was in Van Wagenens yesterday. There were a lot of people in there, but very little in stock. I don't think they had any surplus ammo. They had very few HK mags, and I think the price had gone up. Still no .22 lr at Provo Sportsmans (saw a guy looking at a 10/22 there-hope he can find ammo for it) or the Springville Walmart, thought the Springville Walmart had a fair amount of ammo (no 9mm or other very common stuff).

I went to Cal Ranch in Spanish Fork. They were just locking their doors, though the guy said they just received a decent shipment of powder. I wish I arrived before they closed. Powder is hard to find.

More and more I have been shooting my muzzleloaders for fun to save my ammo for my other rifles. I have a nice little .32 muzzle loader that shoots little bitty bullets. It is fun to shoot and only uses a little lead and the same weight of powder as my cap and ball pistol. The only problem is cleaning it up is a pain in the butt. I bought one of my sons a .50 muzzleloader for Christmas that he really likes to shoot and has become fairly proficient with. It makes me happy to see him hitting his targets with it.

I'm starting to see more ammo hit the shelves around my area. A bunch of .223, 357, and 45ACP just came in. Shelves were absolutely full for most hunting rifle calibers. 22lr is still easy to find although the price has gone up; 9MM is not too hard to find. 380ACP is still impossible to find, though. I'm seeing some good deals from people selling their off-caliber firearms around here... seems everyone is starting to downsize and standardize.

It's not a clone of any firearm. It was created and manufactured by CZ.

As for ammo availability, try getting anything right now... But yeah I see what you are saying. It is available all the time on sites like AIM and http://www.ammunitiontogo.com/catalog1/ ... rers_id=19

And yes, you can trim down 9mm cases if you want to reload for it.

I went to Sportsmans warehouse the other day (Vegas), they didn't have hardly anything... hardly any semi auto rifles, handgun stock was particularly low... but they did have 9x18...

You're right. I assumed it was a Mak with a different name. I did a little reading and found out otherwise.
