In general? Because that's going to be broad. I could think of a few, like how J.G. Ballard predicted social media in the seventies. Or how some folk predicted WW2.

Or church stuff?

The one I’m thinking of announces a very specific thing that will happen by a very specific date.

Hint: it was something a USA President said that was fulfilled when he was no longer in office.

Anything within the last 100 years, by anyone, about anything specific?

J.G. Ballard predicts social media, Tik Tok & Youtube... in the 1970s.
Every home will be transformed into its own TV studio. We’ll all be simultaneously actor, director and screenwriter in our own soap opera. People will start screening themselves. They will become their own TV programmes.

Frank Herbert, "Dune" (1965)
Once men turned their thinking over to machines in the hope that this would set them free. But that only permitted other men with machines to enslave them.
Not exactly a prediction, but relevant in these times of "global faith leaders".
When religion and politics travel in the same cart, the riders believe nothing can stand in their way. Their movements become headlong – faster and faster and faster. They put aside all thoughts of obstacles and forget the precipice does not show itself to the man in a blind rush until it’s too late.

A more precise prediction than some we have had from church leadership.

"That Hideous Strength" by C.S. Lewis has some very relevant prophecies in it. Look at these quotes from the baddies in the novel:
"This Institute... it is for something better than housing and vaccinations and faster trains and curing the people of cancer. It is for the conquest of death: or for the conquest of organic life, if you prefer. They are the same thing."
"The day for a large population has passed. It has served its function by acting as a kind of cocoon for Technocratic and Objective Man."
“Science must be given a free hand to take over the human race… if not.. we’re done... Man has got to take charge of man… which means some men have got to take charge of the rest”
“Why you fool, it's the educated reader who CAN be gulled. All our difficulty comes with the others. When did you meet a workman who believes the papers? He takes it for granted that they're all propaganda and skips the leading articles..."
I had a thread on this at:

It's interesting the parts of 1984 that people overlook.

For example, Winston Smith has to do morning exercises in front of a screen which watches him, and the trainer complains to him at one point. Recently I saw an advert for a cycling app which was pretty similar. Your trainer/coach was watching you etc etc.

Then there's the police helicopter out and about. Our local police have been using helicopters a lot more than they used to recently. In fact, I had to complain to them about the noise once, because they seem to like hovering over my area.

The two minute hate is very much with us in the form of the Twitter mob etc.

The chariots come with flashing metal

the cypress spears are brandished.

The chariots race madly through the streets;
they rush to and fro through the squares;
they gleam like torches;
they dart like lightning.
I've long thought this part of Revelation 9 refers to some form of technology or weaponry.
the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men. 8And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions. 9And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle. 10And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails:

harp master wrote: December 12th, 2021, 6:37 pm Not to derail the thread but I have a fairly long page on Revelation 9. Because I'm convinced Islam is the religion of the beast, I think Rev. 9 represents jihadist and the demons that inspire and torment them.

Revelation 9 has long been associated with the Arabs and Muslims for several reasons. Locust are figurative of the Arabs in the Old Testament. Both the scorpions and locust have the Mid-East as their natural habitat, especially in Arabia. And in Arabic, the word "Arab" and "locust" sound similar.

Another tell-tale sign is verse 17 which I believe is a demonic curse coming upon the earth by the radical followers of Islam in full swing for world dominance.

And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.

The word for breastplates is the word 'thorax,' and were held by straps that went over the shoulders or around the neck.

"...and of jacinth," (dark red)...

From Vines.... Jacinth: signifies "hyacinthine," perhaps primarily having the color of the hyacinth. Some regard its color as that of the martagon lily, a dusky red. According to Swete, the word 'jacinth' in Rev 9:17 is, "doubtless meant to describe the blue smoke of a sulphurous flame."

"...and brimstone: 'sparks and explosion' This is the only place the word 'brimstone' or Strong's #2306 is used in the NT. It comes from 2303 and says, "in its original sense of "flashing."

"...and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; (Babylonians) and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone."

John even tells us how many jihadists there are in the world when this happens.

In 2006-7 a leading Mid-East expert Daniel Pipes in 2006 said there were 300 million jihadist and 400 million radicals in the world. I thought that number to be a bit high on the jihadist but close on the radicals.

"And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them."

Now verse 18 "By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths."

No doubt that nuclear terrorism could kill 1/3 of the earth's population. The 'smoke' could mean the fallout and the brimstone and fire the blast itself.
and another false prophet like many before him

first find and read all the books several times and then you can say what is or is not a beast

your opinion is completely beyond what is in the bible there are always described as Arabs where it is written Arabs at the beast?

Basically you twisted the words congratulations

"Year of the Sex Olympics" is a British TV play from 1968. It is not that well remembered but it is on YouTube. Its most stunning prediction is about so called Reality TV, which was thirty or forty years in the future. We have a show here called "Love Island" which sounds like the plot of this. Because it was made in the sixties for television, it is not pornographic (despite the title), but points to the use of freely available pornography to pacify the population.

Oh, and they show endless programmes about food to shut up the population

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Year_ ... x_Olympics
Influenced by concerns about overpopulation, the counterculture of the 1960s and the societal effects of television, the play depicts a world of the future where a small elite controls the mass media, keeping the lower classes docile by serving them an endless diet of lowest common denominator programmes and pornography. The play concentrates on an idea the programme controllers have for a new programme that will follow the trials and tribulations of a group of people left to fend for themselves on a remote island. In this respect, the play is often cited as having anticipated the craze for reality television
society is divided between 'low-drives' that equate with the labouring classes and 'hi-drives' who control the government and media. The low-drives are controlled by a constant broadcast of pornography that the hi-drives are convinced will pacify them
[The writer] Kneale's concept concerned "the world of the future, and a way of keeping the population happy without being active".[3] According to Kneale, the notion for the play came from the "worldwide dread of populations exploding out of all control"[4] leading him to devise a world where pornography hooks the population "on a substitute for sex rather than the real thing and so keeping the population down".[5]
Kneale was also influenced by the dropout counterculture of the late 1960s; he later recalled, "I didn't like the Sixties at all because of the whole thing of 'let it all hang out' and let's stop thinking [...] which was the all too frequent theme of the Sixties which I hated".
Dissatisfaction with the youth culture of the time was a preoccupation of Kneale's—in the mid-sixties he had worked on The Big, Big, Giggle, an unmade script about a teenage suicide cult, and following The Year of the Sex Olympics he returned to the theme of youth out of control in his 1969 play Bam! Pow! Zapp!, and in the fourth and final Quatermass serial in 1979.[1] Many cultural icons of the youth movement, including members of the Beatles, Pink Floyd and Monty Python, were fans of Kneale's work.[7]
For The Year of the Sex Olympics Kneale extrapolated the possible consequences of the youth movement's desire for freedom from "traditional" cultural inhibitions, asking, as the academic John R. Cook puts it, "In a world of no limits, will the result quickly be apathy if there is nothing any more to get excited about, nothing precious or illicit to fight for in the teeth of the censor?".[8]
Kneale also sought to make "a comment on television and the idea of the passive audience",[9] depicting a world where the media is controlled by an elite who feed the population with a diet of low-quality programmes and echoing the Orwellian concept of language reduction, where vocabulary has been eroded through exposure to advertising slogans, mediaspeak and predominantly visual media.[5][10][11] He later recalled, "I thought people in those conditions would have very, very, reduced language—they wouldn't be really a verbal society any more, and I think we're heading towards that."
One of the first to draw comparisons with The Year of the Sex Olympics and the rise of reality television programmes (soap operas without professional actors), such as Big Brother, Castaway 2000 and Survivor, was journalist Nancy Banks-Smith in a review of the first series of the UK version of Big Brother for The Guardian in 2000;[21] she later expounded upon the theme in 2003, writing that the play "foretold the reality show and, in the scramble for greater sensation, its logical outcome".[22]

An admirer, the writer and actor Mark Gatiss, has said that upon seeing Big Brother he yelled at the television, "Don't they know what they're doing? [...] It's The Year of the Sex Olympics! Nigel Kneale was right!".[23] When The Year of the Sex Olympics was repeated on BBC Four on 22 May 2003, Paul Hoggart in The Times noted that "in many respects Kneale was right on the money [...] when you consider that nothing gets contemporary reality show audiences more excited than an emotional train-wreck on live TV".[24]
Although the reality television of The Live Life Show is the aspect most commentators pick up on, The Year of the Sex Olympics is also a wider satire on sensationalist television and the media in general. Mark Gatiss has noted that the Artsex and Foodshow programmes that also appear in the play "ingeniously depicted the future of lowest common denominator TV".[23] This view is echoed by the writer and critic Kim Newman, who has said that "as an extreme exercise in revolutionary self-criticism on the part of television professionals, who also lampoon their own world of chattering commentators and ratings-chasing sensationalism, the play [...] is a trenchant contribution to a series of debates that is still raging"[25] and has concluded that "Nigel Kneale might be quite justified in shouting, 'I was right! I was right!'"[11]

He's right about writing that shows a story, versus telling a story. I hired help for slogfrog.com and an amazing actress that played the friend of the friend of God on TV, fell in love with Slog's story and was excited to narrate it. She got to give voice to the whole caste of characters, like Eddie Murphy did in some of his movies.

Weird, writing a silly story about a little frog and having a princess show up ...

Reality for me has long been stranger than the strangest fiction.

Have you yet got your fourth wall TV?
