Tired of evil

Anyone else tired of wickedness surrounding us? It’s getting depressing. Everyone is brain washed and is deceived by secret combinations. There is no justice for the wicked. My faith is strong but I’m concerned we will lose more freedoms in a very short period of time and we will witness other things that are difficult. Sometimes I wonder why I waited so long to come to earth. (Sorry if I sound like a whiner, I’ve been sick in bed all week and I think it’s wearing on me.)

I just wrote this elsewhere for a different reason, but I'll post it here. God bless. Let's remember that you're right: it is going to get worse. But it's for a purpose.
---
To some 2017-2021 may seem like a never-ending rollercoaster of chaos and calamity. While that may be true to some extent, I believe it is the season of God's final warnings to the people of the world: REPENT. Repent before God's day of judgment overtakes the world.
There is a ferocious one who will bring wrath. Not even the boast of the world, it's mightiest military, will be able to stand against it. ALL the ideas and efforts of the wicked will fail against it. And it will bring destruction until the purposes of God are complete.
That is coming.
But, today, we are being warned by God through nature, through circumstances and events: REPENT!
We are a nation of idolaters. Our faith is in men, in science, in religious leaders, in buildings, in movies, in sports, in the UN, in government, and in practically anything but where it should be: God.
God lives. God is salvation. God is mighty to save. God is God, and there isn't another source of our salvation.
Prepare. Prepare the heart and the mind for poverty. Prepare for burden. Prepare for sorrow. Prepare for witnessing calamity unlike anything of the past. Prepare for the labor that presses and squeezes from today 'till tomorrow.
God is the soul's salvation. God is the source of greatest comfort. God lives. God loves. We have a friend in God.
And then, bright as the beautiful clear morning comes the millennium. I hope it comes soon.

I'm getting tired too. Yet during this trying time, patience is advised. The worst thing that can happen is to lose your faith.
I feel like I am starting to understand the prophecy concerning the Salt Lake Temple more and more, uttered at the end of the dedicatory prayer, as well as other statements that indicate that when the going gets really tough, the Saints would be praying day and night for deliverance that only Christ and His Millennial Reign can bring. Over the past week or two, I have taken upon myself to do just that, because the goings are tough right now.
Do not lose your faith in the Savior.

I just find peace knowing that this life is just temporary. I've been reading the book life everlasting which got me thinking again of how amazing it will be on the other side. I do agree however that seeing the full on brainwashing of friends and family right now s extremely frustrating, and I feel like yelling at people sometimes to try and snap them out of this hypnotizing big pharma spell. Hoping that in the next life we see justice for all of the people behind this, although would love to see it in this life even more. Hang in there, it can only make us stronger, despite how hard it may seem to go through it in the moment

Thank you. I agree.
Things will get bad. If it weren’t for Isaiah, I would be lost. I hope repentance and learning will be enough for now. Im just kind tired of the calm before the storm feeling. It’s dreadful and I feel like I’m not sure if I’m doing enough to prepare.

42 And because of your diligence and your faith and your patience with the word in nourishing it, that it may take root in you, behold, by and by ye shall pluck the fruit thereof, which is most precious, which is sweet above all that is sweet, and which is white above all that is white, yea, and pure above all that is pure; and ye shall feast upon this fruit even until ye are filled, that ye hunger not, neither shall ye thirst.
43 Then, my brethren, ye shall reap the rewards of your faith, and your diligence, and patience, and long-suffering, waiting for the tree to bring forth fruit unto you
Book of Mormon, Alma 36:42-43
10 That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness;
12 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
"We're praying this so that you can live lives that are worthy of the Lord and pleasing to him in every way: by producing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God; by being strengthened through his glorious might so that you endure everything and have patience."
Colossians 1:10-12, New Testament
This is the way.

It occupies most of my thoughts, it seems, especially the evil that is perpetrated upon children and the unborn.
Professor Mattias Desmet from Belgium is interviewed a lot about “Mass Formations” that characterize totalitarian movements. Fascinating! Essentially it is mass hypnosis and if allowed to proceed will end up in atrocities. So needless to say, it is important to stop this one.
He asserts that a powerful tool for stopping a mass formation is to speak up against it. Gentle ridicule of the narrative can be super effective, but pointing out the fallacies and inconsistencies is also good. Intriguingly, he said that the vibrations of the voice help to disrupt the hypnosis.
Dr. Desmet says the most important thing we can do right now is to never stop talking. We may still go into a mass formation (we certainly have been in one), but talking stops it from getting to the stage of people committing atrocities on each other. Good to know.
He also talks about forming “parallel structures.” This is where people come together and live their own lives outside of the evil system. Easier said than done, no doubt, but we might as well face the real possibility of one day being forced to barter and buy all our necessities from local farmers, neighbors, and suppliers. (Saw a good speech about that the other day. Will start a thread.)
I’ve been catching a vision of a parallel structure around here with our friends and neighbors, and thought it just might work, as long as we kept Christ front and center, at all times. Such a micro society might eventually acquire the customs and traditions of Zion, even.
Have you ever thought about that—the idea of Zion growing out of groups of people who refuse to go along with evil in any form? And what if such little enclaves or parallel structures could be granted divine protection and intervention?
It’s just a thought, but maybe the first step at this stage is individually to be content with refusing to play along with evil in any way. Secondly, we can take opportunities to erode the narrative with friends and family, and strangers in line at the store.
Maybe it’s pure fantasy, but it comforts me to think about it.

I believe what makes it so hard is that evil seems to be EVERYWHERE.
We are in the times spoken of by Isaiah..."the golden wedge of Ophir" times:
Isaiah 13:12 and 2 Nephi 23:12
"I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir."
I love this explanation found here:
https://tammystwocents.blogspot.com/201 ... r.html?m=1
Partial below:
"Now, Isaiah is notorious for being difficult to understand. So I will explain what this scripture means.
In the last days (now), righteous men and women will be more difficult to find than fine gold. I looked it up and Ophir was a rich gold producing province of India known for its wealth, as mentioned in the Bible.
Not only will righteous men and women be more difficult to find than fine gold in the last days prior to the Second Coming of Christ, but they will be worth more than the golden wedge of Ophir. Now, I'm not certain how big or fancy or expensive the golden wedge of Ophir is or was. But I imagine it was the most precious thing Isaiah could think of to reference in that scripture.
Basically the prophet Isaiah was trying to emphasize the point that, in the last days, righteous people will be extremely rare and hard-to-find and more precious than the finest gold.
In these last days, wicked people are a dime a dozen. They are everywhere. But the truly righteous are few and far between. And the chasm is getting bigger every day.
To be more precious than the golden wedge of Ophir requires daily effort to stay spiritually strong. So many people are dropping like flies, due to the efforts of the adversary (Satan). He and his "angels" are working overtime to drag the righteous into Babylon. We need to work just as hard to counteract his efforts and remain righteous.
Don't be among the weak multitudes in Babylon who will be destroyed at the last day. Rise above the dross"

We are in for exciting times! This is what we signed up for and it doesn’t get any better than this. We are here for the final events of this eternal round. I just shake my head at the brainwashed masses knowing that they are going to miss all the excitement.
Sure we are in for rough times - that’s what makes it exciting. We get to write our own stories of faith like those of Daniel in the lion’s den, SMA being tossed into the furnace, David slinging stones at the giant, Alma and Amulek breaking out of prison and Nephi obtaining the brass plates all just examples of the experiences waiting to be lived by us.
Look what’s ahead, the ten tribes returning, the second coming of our Savior, Satan being bound, the Millennium, a new heaven and a new earth. Who wants to miss out on all this action!
Now is the time to prepare - now is when we need to know that the path we are on is the one that is pleasing to our God - so that we can, with the help of Jesus our Lord, emerge from the furnace with the eternal assurance that we do belong in the same glory as those whose stories of faith were written before ours.
Keep your arms and leg inside the cart at all times, hang on with both hand and have fun!

We are in an awful situation. Surrounded by evil, so much that we can't even see and don't even know. It feels like there is no escape. Even if we tried to escape and live primitively I don't even think that would work, it's even in the air!
But, there is comfort knowing God is more powerful than all the evil. All we need to do is the next right thing. Moment by moment. Unplug and get away if that's the next right thing.

No, this is absolutely fine. This situation is horrific for people's mental health (and physical, since stress affects that). I don't think we talk about that aspect enough here or how to deal with it.
Oddly enough, my stress started in late 2019. I felt something was horribly wrong with the world, even got premonitions. I just put it down to depression and paranoia at the time. I realise I was picking up on what was happening before it started officially.
I know one solution is not to watch the news, but unfortunately this situation is all around us. Unlike people in dictatorships in the past, it is not even possible to flee elsewhere.

People used to flee to places like the USA, (what was) West Germany, South Korea or Hong Kong - now all of these places are turning into dictatorships (the USA less so than the others).
By the way, if you think the USA is bad, it looks worse elsewhere. This part of the world is worse than the USA, but the Irish Republic is worse than here, and Continental Europe is even worse than them. As for Australia.

Australia is horrific because it is a sister country to us. Canada too has gone beyond the Pale.

I love the fact that Jesus looks to be returning soon and this rubbish will not last long... but I'm not looking forward to being put through the flames and whatever is ahead in the near future. Being put in a camp/facility seems a serious possibility for me now, and worse. There is a level of psychological warfare going on here.
I pray for strength and wisdom. I pray I will not betray God or my beliefs. I've no idea how I'd fare under worse pressure.

It's definitely taking a toll on us, Mambear. But we'll weather this storm as we continually seek and share His peace and message with our brothers and sisters.
I find much solace in hearing/reading the ancient promises and covenants that our Father made with His people. His truth brings me peace and calms my soul.
The lyrics to one of my favorite songs is actually composed of excerpts of verses from the Old Testament:
I will bring you back home(Eze 11:17)
I'll bring you back home, oh my children (Eze 36:24)
You will no longer roam
Lost and alone in the night (Jer 31:8-9)
There is nothing on earth that could take you away(Jer 3:18)
Once I gather you under my wings(Deut 30:3-5)
I will bring you all back home again(Zephaniah 3:20)
Though you've wandered like strangers(Psalm 105:12-13)
To the ends of the earth (Jeremiah 16:14-15)
I will send you a savior(Isaiah 45:17)
I will finish my work(Isaiah 43:5-7)
You have no other shepherd(Jeremiah 31:10)
You have no other lord(Isaiah 45:5)
Green pastures are waiting in Zion once more(Isaiah 49:8-12)
I know the message shown through these scriptures and lyrics is true. We look to Him and seek Him. Not a single promise He's made will return void.
NOTHING CAN, NOR WILL, DENY OUR SAVIOR WHAT HE PAYED FOR WITH HIS BLOOD AND MORTAL LIFE. So we stay true to Him and we stay true to what He told us to BE in His sermon on the mount.
You're an example of a stalwart, God loving woman, Mambear. Keep it up.

I know it's shocking. You expect this kind of crap from somewhere like Venezuela or Russia, maybe even Japan or Greece, not Australia and Canada. Those countries are way too close to us in language and values.
I think I picked up something in late 2019. I sensed what was going on. Call it a prompting. Looking back on it, that's what it was.
No idea why they wish to turn into China. China is actually a colossal failure in some ways, despite looking new and shiny. They have rampant problems in their political and economic system which go deeper than the issue of freedom. Even the Chinese leadership knows that and have troed to change some of it. They are very inefficient. You have ghost towns in America, they have ghost cities as big as Salt Lake.

Keep it up.

Thank you for your kind words and the video. I really appreciate it.

What is worse? The evil, or that good people are standing by and doing nothing. I think at minimum we should all be fasting and praying for deliverence.
Some of us are doing that already.
Last year when some people were praying for vaccines, I said in an online talk that people should be praying for God to improve this situation. I used neutral language, but reminded people that a jab* would not solve all the problems caused by lockdown e.g. economic.
* This was before people took reactions in large numbers.

It is time to be positive in a dark, dreary world of evil. We may be endangering innocent people with negative rants.
