My wife's daughter has a son in Oregon foster care. He is autistic and just turned 18. The boy's mother and her other children are in Utah. She has been unable to have her son released, by the state, so he can join his family in Utah. The process if expensive, legal wise, to get Jaden home. There is a worker who has continually made charges against Jaden's caregiver that got her license revoked. The caregiver jumped through all the hoops to have her license restored. Everyone involved in the state bureaucracy seems to know the woman who alleges abuse, is deranged but allegations have to be considered true, according to state law. There is no accountability for the state worker who makes any false allegations.
I went to Oregon, met Jaden and spent several days with him, his mother, siblings and grandmother. I really like Jaden and I was impressed by how sharp, kind and loving he is.
Does anyone know how to get Jaden home?
