Jordan Peterson - Fascinating Bit

I find this very interesting in lieu of the current pandemic event we're involved in.

Wow. indeed.

The tendency to need order, segueing into a strong sense of disgust. Fascinating stuff.

That guy is spectacular. And quite traditional, but with a modern twist, that runs contrary to most modern minds.

OPs link led me to many many of his videos. I could listen to that guy all night long.

But I need to read a little David Copperfield, and then sleep.

You should listen to his bit called "A Single Psilocybin Trip". He talks about a study done that had encouraging results on terminal cancer patients and depression. I love that he has years and years of clinical experience, so he really knows what he's talking about.

I don't think or notice he has any more of a Canadian accent than I do. And I don't. Or maybe I sorta do.

My concern is with the content of his speech, what he says. And sorta how he says it, it indicates he actually thinks about what he is saying. Actually thinking as he is speaking.

There is not a single ounce of evidence Zyklon B was used to murder people in gas chambers. Fred Leuchter, execution device expert, PROVED this when he went to Germany and Poland and tested and examined the alleged gas chambers.

Peterson is right on the money that Hitler was trying to keep his nation pure from outside influence, but he is an absolute naive, idiot on the genocide question and this part of German history.

God's plan is also to create a place where only the pure and clean will reside. God has a massive wall surronding His kingdom where only the righteous will dwell. God also sees our bodies as corrupt and imperfect, which will become purified and perfected and WHITE.

Those teaching that God accepts one big filthy pot of all people of all stripes, attitudes, and behaviors is a total liar and deceiver.

And by the way, what is wrong with an army that marches in unison. Peterson labels this as something wicked and evil. Why? What is wrong with the symbolism of order, unity, and conformity? What is it with Americans and their obsession with the image of rugged scrappers as somehow the holy and righteous way, and to be emulated above all else? This is the image in all Hollywood movies of American soldiers in World War 2, why is it somehow the only right way to run an army?

Peterson brings up some good points in his speeches, but he can also be a bloviating know-it-all about things he's clueless about.

This goes back to what I was saying earlier.

There is nothing inherently wrong with collectivism. It can be used for great good or great evil. People point out 1930s Germany as this horrifically evil place and compare it to today because people then were unified as they are in "evil".

This is simply not the case. These people were very, very happy. They had jobs again, they could afford homes. Their families were growing. Hitler was the most popular western leader in the world, from polls taken by the population.

The people who were miserable in 1930s Germany were the troublemakers who NOW control hollywood, the media and the banks today. They want you to believe that because their people were miserable, Germany was an awful place for everyone. WRONG!

Do we not see the exact same line being said about the four years under Donald Trump today? Yeah, it sucked for the retards who hated Trump and his policies, but it was great for the rest of us wasn't it?

Jordan Peterson cannot be so stupid to not understand this. He's intentionally deceiving people about history. Who is really propping this guy up? I wonder.

I like some of his stuff but he can also be very deceptive. He's famous for his self help content, preaches about getting your house in order, while at the same admittingly being a drug addict.

I don't hold that against him. At least he admits his faults. This is an ideal we should look towards. Unfortunately my rooms are not very clean, but I know what he's driving at. Hard to keep a clean room when the world is falling down around you...

Well, questioning the holocaust narrative certainly won't get him very far, quite the opposite . . . . and if he did, there goes his positive influence in areas totally unrelated. Perhaps he's just being prudent so he can get his main message out, coupled with not being acquainted with the narratives questioning the holocaust.

Armies have to be disciplined in a uniform way and act in concert to follow commands and orders. Just the way it is. Just read the narratives of various and sundry military leaders in Plutarch's Lives, to get a sense of this.

Goose stepping is just another step-up of this phenomenon, almost a whole other animal, and could very well fit in w/Hitler's need for displays of even greater order.

Sometimes you have to pick and choose. I'm not aware of any commentator that i totally agree with, or of whom I'm sure is pure as the driven snow.

I like a lot of what Russell Brand does, dare I admit. But does he ever have a checkered past and some absolutely horrible movie efforts. But he does seem to be open minded and one who is trying to find the truth of various matters.
