Gavin Gruesome Newsom, Governor of California, has been missing for going on 12 days now after publicly taking a booster jab.

The governor’s office announced on Oct. 29 that Newsom would not travel to Scotland because of “family obligations."

“Due to family obligations, Governor Newsom will no longer be traveling to the 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) and will instead be participating virtually, focusing on California’s landmark climate change policies,” spokeswoman Erin Mellon wrote in a statement.

Newsom was last seen in public two days earlier than the statement when he received his COVID-19 vaccination booster shot, though he released a video wishing a happy Diwali on Thursday to Californians who celebrate the holiday.
