Kyle Rittenhouse Trial (Poll)

Right now the trial of Kyle Rittenhouse is going on. I have not followed it extensively, I am just curious. Based on the information you know about this trial so far, do you think he should be convicted and serve time in prison? Is it too early to tell? Would you have done the same thing in his position? Is this a frivolous case wasting tax payer money?

There is very good video footage from the shootings and I've watched it frame by frame several times. There is no way he is guilty of anything other than self defense.

He'll only be convicted if the media is able to scare the jury again like they did with Floyd.

I watched a video in which a Black Lives Matters volunteer medic, pulled a pistol out of his pocket while Rittenhouse was on the ground nearly beaten senseless by the skateboard guy.

Looks like the “medic” was going to execute Rittenhouse right there.

He should definitely be acquitted. But the biggest question is on the first guy he shot, who was unarmed, but tried to take his weapon. Under those circumstances a cop would certainly never be convicted. But he was not a cop. It will be interesting.

It's the most clear-cut case of self-defense against a mob that I've ever seen. There were 4 times he was on the verge of death or serious injury, but he defended himself admirably. 3 despicable people got what they deserved, and no innocent person was harmed. Unless you count the damage the government has done to Kyle and his family.

The fact that two of his attackers, and the guy who fired the first shot are still allowed to walk around in public is a gigantic travesty of justice.

The evidence already on the news has proven that he is unequivocally innocent and was in fact a hero for his actions. We knew this before, but now with new testimony and video footage it's crystal clear to even those that thought he was guilty before.

100%. The whole thing was incredibly clear to me from the very beginning. The only thing I've learned from this trial was how much of an actual peace-maker Kyle was. That encounter with the child rapist wasn't the first time he was confronted with violence that night. Rosenbaum actually threatened to murder him earlier, someone pepper-sprayed him, and another person tried to start a fight. Every time, he turned the other cheek and just walked away, still offering medical help to everyone around.

His parents should be very proud to have raised such an amazing son.

Not even. The first guy, it can be surmised, was not merely attempting to disarm him but could have easily used that same AR against Rittenhouse; there are many instances where this has happened. Because this was an active "peaceful protest" with active rioting, looting and destruction, Rittenhouse had no choice but to believe that the loss of his weapon--given that he had been pursued, which the video plainly illustrate--would have directly resulted in his own death by the weapon he carried. That, and the guy was older and (if the courtroom videos are to be believed) bigger... Rittenhouse is NOT large of stature and, even though fit, probably not as strong but definitely in fear for his life.

Kyle Rittenhouse is guilty of stupidity. Showing up to a BLM riot with a gun is the dumbest thing a person can do. Instead of the Kenosha riots being owned by the left we now have a trial going on that takes the focus off the idiots that rioted and destroyed peoples property. If he is found guilty then, which I suspect he will be the State avoids riots and shame from the left. If he is found innocent look for more rioting and destruction.

Not only that, but there was testimony in the trial that Rosenbaum had already told Kyle to his face that if he caught him alone later that night he would kill him.

We used to call this brave and heroic. Now apparently, the patriotic thing to do is cower in our homes in fear of our own government.

Kyle is a Saint:

Image

pic kinda blurry -
shoots a pedo in the dick
shoots a burglar in the arm
shoots a wife strangler in the lungs
we are a country of p***y's if we convict this guy.

"shouldn't have been there" should be applied to BLM/antifa. Last I checked, we still have a Constitution and BOR. Everyone - including Trump - was handwringing all summer about these riots - Kyle took action, Captain Moroni style.

The alphabet agency sitting on evidence needs to be disbanded, and the prosecutor needs to be disbarred. totally corrupt.

I suspect even the prosecution knows they have no case, but they also are very aware of how much punishment the process is. Even if Kyle walks free, they've taken a year of his life away from him, and inflicted enormous emotional torture on him and his family, and drained both his family and his supporters of hundreds of thousands of dollars.

He wasn't the only one. There were a fairly large group of dudes who were all armed protecting many businesses that night. Kyle just unluckily got separated from them. Perhaps he should have done what the Roof Koreans did... which was... stay up on a roof....

He's innocent 100% but I get the feeling they'll convict.

Governments don't need to riot to destroy your life.

He had every right to be there.

We all have a duty to combat criminal behavior wherever it occurs.

The rioters were breaking the law.

In the not so recent past, rioting, arson, assault and battery, rape and attempting to do any of these things could be met with lethal force.

What changed?

The criminals murdered their way into power and wanted to make sure the law could not be effectively applied to them.

It worked.

They are above the law.

We should all have been there.

But we look for excuses not to act.

So they give us some.

Welcome to the Revolution.

They are not prosecuting Rittenhouse.

They are prosecuting White America.

They are prosecuting you.

Sir H

Prosecutors' "star" witness (Grosskreutz) just sealed Kyle's win and the prosecution's defeat by admitting he pulled his gun FIRST on Kyle Rittnehouse:

What SHOULD happen:

The case should result in Rittenhouse's INNOCENCE given that he fired the gun in self-defense.

What WILL PROBABLY happen:

The court, in order to avoid potential pressure buildup, will find Rittenhouse guilty, though probably on a lesser charge like manslaughter.

So WTH are the charges against Grosskreutz for admitting attempted murder?

Yes, the government was clearly complicit in the rioting. They were accomplices and/or co-conspirators. Hence the need for citizens to step up an do the job the government had abandoned

Grosskreutz also admitted on the stand that he's affiliated with a radical leftist revolutionary group. So that's why: they're on the same team.

If they DO convict Kyle with ANYTHING at all I predict incredible societal upheavals from the righteous folk who want to reclaim our nation. I do not see them being able to keep him in a jail at this point one way or another.
