A hung jury is probably a fairly high likelihood. But we thought the same of the Ammon Bundy trial in Oregon, and they surprised us with a unanimous acquittal.

Does anyone think there'll be riots over the Kyle Rittenhouse verdict?

I believe that the prosecutor was intentionally trying to get a mistrial.
Why? Because they know that they can't win but with a mistrial, Rittenhouse never gets absolved. The media could continue to proclaim him guilty until the end of time. It would also make it more difficult for Rittenhouse to win defamation lawsuits.

Yes. A good distraction is needed from all the scandals taking place under the current administration.

That didn't work out so well for them with Nick Sandmann.

And yet here they are again.. Zimmerman, Sandmann, Rittenhouse... They don't care if they have to pay out some money. They created the narrative and it persists. They are fanning the flames for riots with their lies. Do you really think they learned anything at all except to be a little less direct in their accusations?

I think it's telling that the prosecution's narrative changed dramatically from the beginning of the trial to the end. They started out with this narrative that Kyle was a racist active shooter, illegally carrying a gun in public, out to kill a bunch of people. But nearly all their witnesses--that the prosecution brought in--completely blew that up in their face.
Mind you, this was the narrative they were building and preparing for more than a year.
The court dropped the gun possession charge at the last minute, chopping the last leg of the prosecution's argument out from under them. But the state had an ace in the hole. All of a sudden out of the blue AFTER the prosecution rested, no less, this brand new narrative springs to life, all based on a computer generated image from drone footage that nobody even knows where it came from. Now, based on this single picture, and nothing else, Binger decides Kyle actually pointed his gun at Ziminski, thereby provoking the child rapist to attack Kyle in an apparent 3rd party defense of Ziminski, and causing Kyle to lose all right to self-defense for the rest of the night.
I really hope the jury can see through their smoke screen. Kyle's lawyer gave a very good rebuttal to the whole thing, and even pointed out how all the evidence points to this being a political witch hunt by the state.

Picture this hypothetical scenario.
BLM rioter shoots white conservative protestor with AR-15 and is tried for murder
During closing arguments, the conservative prosecutor points the AR-15 at the jury.
What would the media narrative be? I can 100% guarantee you that the narrative would be that the prosecutor threatened the jury.
You might say that the gun was unloaded but that is what Alec Baldwin thought. The only way to be absolutely certain that a gun is unloaded is to check it yourself first.

You may have heard, the defense of the Hero Kyle the Kid of Kenosha was given LOW RESOLUTION video while the prosecution got HIGH RESOLUTION video:

https://youtu.be/z8mBTHWgkvI
That is absolutely grounds for permanent dismissal. That level of manipulation by the FBI and state prosecution is REPREHENSIBLE!!
They were right to motion for a dismissal with prejudice (means permanent):

How does the bailiff allow this guy to point a gun at anyone in a court room? he should have been tackled and detained.

This crooked POS wouldn't know how to safety check a gun if his life depended on it, and apparently no one ever told him to keep his booger hook off the bang switch.
I'm wondering if the prosecutor pointed his gun at the jury to subtly indicate what would happen to them if they didn't give a guilty verdict.

"Kyle’s attorneys have asked for a mistrial with prejudice. This means the state cannot re-try or re-file the case if the motion is passed by the judge.
"The judge is required to declare a mistrial if there is an error occurs during the trial proceedings, or any conduct either inside or outside the courtroom that could result in “substantial and irreparable prejudice to the defendant’s case.”
"It simply means that a certain case would be barred or dismissed due to some form of discrimination."

I'm beginning to wonder if the prosecution is trying for a -mistrial-with-prejudice.

The lackluster defense is now asking for mistrial without prejudice, which would mean the snakes get another bite at Kyle. The judge rolled over and played dead when the tampered video evidence came to light, and the defense called Kraus on his lies about it. Kraus blamed everybody else: the defense, the video experts, the FBI... But all it takes is just throw out an excuse--the judge will accept literally anything at this point. The defense is still asleep at the wheel, or puts up a brief whimper, then goes back to staring at the table.
The RekietaLaw channel on Youtube has a lawyer joining occasionally who apparently has insight to the defense. Robert Barnes? Maybe he worked for them at some point. He has pointed out how much free help was offered to the defense team, but they turned it all down. They could have had Andrew Branca--the pre-eminent use-of-force expert in the country--on their team, but nope.
Kyle's life is in the hands of 3 dunces and 2 vipers right now. Lord, have mercy on him.
