The brethren… they must be very disappointed.
And Mitt Romney, Gov Cox, Mike Lee... Liberal tears are flowing right now.
I wonder if the Fed will bring charges now.

I don't think they can. I was reading about dual sovereignty, but it seems the federal court can only press the same charges if if there's Federal jurisdiction..... Like if he shot a federal agent

Am I the only one that got a bit choked up watching Kyle as they read the verdict? What a sigh of relief that must have been. Poor kid.

I cried when I watched his reaction. Totally did not expect that. That boy has been through hell and back.

Stupidity ensues. Biden disagrees with verdict and calls for “peaceful” protests.
Go back to your pudding and naps bud.

How do they keep getting away with this kind of crap?
And for the president of the United States call him a white supremacist with absolutely no proof. His own FBI examined Kyles' phone after Kyle and his lawyer gave them the passcode and found no evidence of racism or white supremacy.

The American left is absolutely out of control. How can anyone continue to defend this?

Kyle Rittenhouse's suffering may have only just begun. He will very likely be in the crosshairs of some people who object to the verdict, and may be well advised to live the rest of his life incognito.
And Biden still thinks we live in a democracy: "Violence and destruction of property have no place in our democracy." ("...and to the republic for which it stands...") Oh well!

"Kyle was just ACQUITTED and is now officially FREE!
This was a victory for the truth, for justice, and for every American's God-given and unalienable right of self-defense.
We are so overcome with emotion, and as hard as that was, we are thankful.
We are thankful for the millions of Americans who stood with Kyle from the start.
We are thankful for the many others who watched the trial with an open mind, realized that they had been lied to for a year and a half, and spoke out.
And we are thankful to the jury which put aside bias, considered the facts, and came to the right decision.
Now, we will try to return to something that resembles a normal life, however that requires one more major push to settle our case-related debts and pay off what we hope will be our final legal bills.
So please, take all that positive energy I know you're feeling and make an urgent donation to help us close this very ugly chapter in our lives.
Any funds left over will be transferred into Kyle's scholarship fund so that he'll be able to graduate from college debt-free.
You'll be hearing from us again, but for now, and from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
With love,
Wendy Rittenhouse"

I did too. I felt so bad for him when he collapsed. The sheer terror the moments before the verdict, and the overwhelming wave of relief afterwards, such a rollercoaster ride.

I believe his legal bills were covered. Now it's money to help him sue the corporate media for defamation.

Hopefully Biden will have to pay them after the defamation lawsuits. I wonder if he can legally sue the prosecutor? Not so much for bringing the case, but for all the sleazy moves they tried to pull during the trial?

He won't. There was no defamation. Calling someone an abstract name is considered an opinion and is protected speech.
It was immoral and evil, but legal.

I cried like a baby. I've watched the verdict reading maybe 6 times now, and it choked me up every time. Yeah, I got very emotionally invested in this kid probably the day after the incident. I think it's a combination of fatherly instinct (I got 2 sons about his age), the fact that it was such a clear self-defense shooting, and that the entire Horde of Mordor piled onto him from day 1.
Kyle is free, the Left can go get wrecked.

"Following the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse, who plead self-defense in the fatal shooting of two men and wounding of a third during a night of protests in Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2020, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., called for a federal review of the verdict by the U.S. Department of Justice."
"In order for Rittenhouse to face federal charges, there are several complicated factors that could make it unlikely for federal prosecutors to pursue a case.
"For most homicide cases, federal law typically only applies in crimes that specifically violate federal law. According to Shouse Law Group, a criminal justice team in Los Angeles, the crime of murder “is prosecuted in state courts as a state crime. But murder becomes a federal crime when it occurs in violation of federal law, or when it takes place on a federal land or territory.”
"Shouse Law Group writes, “The federal crime of murder is defined as the ‘unlawful killing of a human being with malice aforethought.’"
I expect every effort will be made to make a federal case out of this now. legally or illegally.
