America's enemies are not afraid of Joe Biden or his administration. Here is a piece by Gordon Chang, writing at The Hill.

Regardless, the Taliban just gave a perfect "cathedra" of what to do in a war with the United States.

It is pretty simple actually.

You don't go out in the open and try to attack the bases directly. You let the Americans come to you. You hide amongst the population and commit guerrilla warfare. You create chaos, but not too much, attacking where the enemy is thin while evading the major bases (except maybe by lobbing a few mortars in their direction to keep them honest). You take advantage of the American media that will parrot out losses of life to the point where you get the Americans restless and wanting to go back home.

This, ironically, was the Japanese plan of keeping its homeland clear near the end of World War II but Little Boy and Fat Man changed that. The Vietnamese followed up those plans and executed them virtually to perfection. Now the Taliban did it.
