"Watchmen!! what of the night?? is the cry of the faithful!" I consider myself "faithful" and I'm wondering
"Watchmen!! what of the night??

The General Authorities are our watchmen! Our we asking? "Now" would seem like a good time to me!

This General Conference I plan to listen to conference and "read between the lines" of the talks, so to speak. But I don't know what the Brethren can say that they haven't said over and over. We're going to have to listen very carefully with our "spiritual ears", I'm afraid.

I think The Proclamation on the Family" was certainly a response, don't you? We have been warned for years about the things we're going to have to fight. We know we're in the last days. I don't expect the prophet to tell us that we have a year to prepare or that the nation's going to fall or anything like that. But if we listen to all of the talks and are in tune, I'm sure we'll have an idea about what to expect or at least what we need to do to prepare.

I see it as a commandment to "cry unto the watchmen" And ask "what of the night?"

I can hardly wait for every conference!

Wish my Jo were here, she could see and hear so much-----
