I can tell you, Walt Disney is ashamed and smoking mad about what has gone on at his Disney company since the 80's. Oh and by the way, that was about when Disney dropped a message from their business cards. That message "The finest in family entertainment". When a reporter asked a Disney exec. if Walt Disney was rolling over in his grave over that kind of change, the little @#!!$#!% shot back "I don't know, I haven't been over to the grave site lately".
And now this. Disney Rolling Out Children’s Cartoon Featuring 14-Year-Old Activist With Interracial Gay Dads,
Disney is revamping “The Proud Family,” a 20-year-old cartoon sitcom about an African American family, and will be featuring a cast that includes two interracial gay dads whose adopted daughter is a teenage racial activist.
Actors Zachary Quinto and Billy Porter, both of whom are gay, will be playing Barry Leibowitz-Jenkins and Randall Leibowitz-Jenkins, respectively, according to Entertainment Weekly (EW). The two are a couple and mixed-race adoptive parents to Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, a 14-year-old black activist voiced by Keke Palmer.

I agree that Disney is getting worse, and I'll take this opportunity to describe how I really feel about Disney.
Disney's entertainment has mostly been trash since its beginning, and has grown smellier and smellier by the hour.
Disney is such a deception and should have only ever been considered relatively "good" in a realm of mostly bad options. I grew up in a culture where we basically had two choices for Sunday movie watching: church movies and Disney (with a few other exceptions). That's how dysfunctional the thinking in a lot of the church. But I don't blame people for feeling that way. In many ways, church videos are as bad as Disney at both successfully portraying Eternal values and at avoiding perpetuating the undermining influence of immodesty, so it makes sense that people would put them in a similar vein.
I had a strange experience the other day. A couple young boys that almost never get sat in front of a TV to watch digital excrement watched parts of Old Yeller. I always thought of Old Yeller as quality wholesome entertainment when I was younger. Having been mostly unplugged from most of Babylon's enticements in entertainment for some time now, I was amazed at how violated I felt in the spirit, and I saw those two young boys react similarly. It was conflict after conflict, violence after violence. In more sane times, people weren't used to having so many conflicts and moments of violence in a 2 hour period, but much and increasingly most of our "quality entertainment" of the last many decades has given us a lifetime's worth conveniently packaged in a single movie.
Come Zion! I see a time coming when our activities and "art" is truly wholesome. No longer will there be compromise with evil. No longer will there be the undermining and destructive influence of immodesty. Disney, of course, will have died the death, and the people of God will no longer have dozens of Disney movies "set up on a pedestal" next to movies about the Savior and the words of His prophets.

Walt had some pretty weird/hidden things in some of his films. I’m not so sure how innocent he was.

Sounds like something RMN will tell us is a godsend and make it part of the Primary program in tolerance training for sunbeams.

Thank you! I feel the same and have for many years. I’m hoping I can kick the tv out for good soon, it’s all trash. I have too many people in my home that would just buy another one though.

Interesting choice to make the white dad like a Texas Ranger.

So much interracial stuff these days. At least so it seems. I mean, I'm not looking for it or anything, I just feel like every other advert either shows it, or someone of mixed race. Am I alone in feeling like I've been seeing a lot of it being portrayed here and there recently?

You can write it down, if the world promotes it, it must be wrong.

"The one thing for me... the important thing... is the family, and keeping the family together with things. That's been the backbone of our whole business, catering to families… The park means a lot to me. It's something that will never be finished, something I can keep developing." Walt Disney
Like I said, Walt Disney is ashamed and smoking mad about what has gone on at his Disney company.
