I was with you when this all started a year ago. I did my shopping at Smith's and stuck out like a sore thumb
without a mask. I thought it was a bunch of silly nonsense.

But when the Prophet told us to be kind to one another and wear masks, my heart was softened.

My parents are elderly and are terrified by this. They rarely leave the house, I do their shopping for them.
I wear a mask now, not because I believe in it, but for other people. If those poor old people I see doing their
own shopping can feel a little safer if they see me with a mask, it is a small thing i can do for my fellow brothers
and sisters.

All Bishops, Stake Presidents, and others that attempt to instill fear in order to get a person to wear a mask are simply evil pricks attempting to prove their loyalty to satan and to show God how little faith they have in Him. One might say that proclaiming mask wearing is a good measure of how much a person truly hates the Almighty God.

I see what you mean.

I will continue to not wear a mask because people need to know that they don’t have to be afraid. If we continue to comply, mandates will keep coming.

By wearing the mask even if you know it is wrong, you are signifying to them that it’s ok and telling them there’s still something to fear. Their fear is based on a lie, and I don’t want to be a part of fanning those flames. It needs to end.

I cringe when people say "the church said X" or "the church teaches Y".

The church is the entire body of membership. So I lean towards phrases life "our leaders" and "church leaders" to emphasize the institutional/hierarchical nature of my comments... for clarity.

Looks like someone is cringe no matter how we phrase things.

I prefer to say 'our church rulers' or 'our church overlords'

I humbly kneel before those "rulers" or "overlords" if they posses the Keys of the Kingdom

The needless death and suffering haunts me, sickens me and disgusts me. It is evil. I cannot in good conscience be silent. I only have a small megaphone, but I am going to use it.

I have to choose TRUTH, there is no other alternative. God is light and truth. I am going with truth, let the chips fall where they may.
