Seven Heartbreaks Caused by Joe Biden’s Progressive Border Policy
The floodgates are open and if you are an American, you will pay in many ways for what is now happening.
Republican leaders are spotlighting the heartbreak, costs, and chaos caused by President Joe Biden’s promise to welcome poor economic migrants who can survive the long trek to the United States border.https://www.breitbart.com/economy/2021/ ... er-policy/

Re: Seven Heartbreaks Caused by Joe Biden’s Progressive Border Policy
This is a problem that started way before Biden. A problem that has been addressed by politicans by mouth and not by action.
Meanwhile the focus on illegal immigration has shifted from Mexico down to Central America. Those guys are fleeing hellholes down there.
And much like the Californians, despite fleeing their states, they tend to favor those whose policies put their areas to crap to begin with.

Reporter confronts Psaki over inhumane conditions at migrant facilities: 'How is the administration not stopping that today?'
March 16, 2021
White House press secretary Jen Psaki was squarely confronted Monday over the Biden administration's handling of the migrant crisis unfolding at the southern United States border.
Despite virtue-signaling from Democrats, unaccompanied migrant children are facing the same tragic living conditions under President Joe Biden's leadership that Democrats criticized during the Trump presidency.
The situation is so dire, in fact, that children are being forced to sleep on the floor and some can only take one shower per week. One facility in Donna, Texas, even reached more than 700% capacity. The Biden administration is now planning to house migrant teenagers in massive facilities like the Dallas Convention Center.
All the while, Psaki and other administration officials have flatly refused to call the situation a "crisis."
PBS' Yamiche Alcindor confronted Psaki over the administration's handling of the crisis, demanding that Psaki answer for the inhumane living conditions being forced on migrant children.
"There were lawyers who interviewed some children that were in facilities. The children described sleeping on the floor, being hungry, not seeing the sun for days. How is that acceptable for the Biden administration to keep children in those sorts of conditions given the fact that you said you were an administration that was going to be more humane than the previous one?" Alcindor asked.
In response, Psaki called the situation "heartbreaking" — then blamed former President Donald Trump.
"We are trying to work through what was a dismantled and unprepared system because of the role of the last administration,"
Psaki said.
But Alcindor pushed back, noting that migrant children are "hungry, sleeping on the floor, [and] not being allowed outside for days at a time."
"Why is that something that's not being outlawed right now? How is the administration not stopping that today?" Alcindor asked.
Psaki responded by admitting the living conditions are not "acceptable," but said the real "challenge" is that "there are not that many options." [Sure there are - here's one - close the damn border!]
"The options here are: Send the kids back on the journey, send them to unvetted homes, or work to expedite moving them into shelters where they can get health treatment by medical doctors, educational resources, legal counseling, mental health counseling. That's exactly what we're focused on doing," Psaki said. [Or close the damn border! Put a fence and the military on the border - you know, like Biden has done with Washington DC]
"We have a lot of critics, but many of them are not putting forward a lot of solutions," Psaki complained.
Biden campaigned on reversing his predecessor's deterrent immigration policies. Critics say the reversal of policy is contributing to the growing migrant crisis.
"You just can't say, 'Yeah, yeah, let everybody in' — because then we're affected down there at the border," Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-Texas) said recently. "The bad guys know how to market this."
In fact, migrant caravans that traveled north over the winter voiced expectation that Biden would honor his commitment to welcome migrants.
"We will advocate that the Biden government honors its commitments," Pueblo Sin Fronteras, a group representing migrants, said in January.

And then, of course, like all socialists - instead of facing and correcting how they've screwed things up, they just try to cover things up.

Biden reportedly restricting what Border Patrol agents can tell media amid border crisis
March 17, 2021
The Biden administration is restricting what Border Patrol agents are allowed to share with members of the media amid the ongoing immigration crisis at the southern border, NBC News reported Wednesday. The news, if accurate, is the latest sign that the situation at the border may be far worse than the administration is letting on as it tries to manage unprecedented numbers of migrants surging into the country in anticipation of more lenient treatment from the new president.
Four current and two former Customs and Border Protection officials reportedly told the news outlet that the information sharing limitations — which have been passed down verbally and not through an official memo — are viewed as an unofficial "gag order" within the agency and are often referred to that way among colleagues.
The officials opted to remain anonymous since they are not authorized to speak about the topic to the media. According to NBC News, the limitations go as follows:
Border Patrol officials have been told to deny all media requests for "ride-alongs" with agents along the southern land border; local press officers are instructed to send all information queries, even from local media, to the press office in Washington for approval; and those responsible for cultivating data about the number of migrants in custody have been reminded not to share the information with anyone to prevent leaks.
Earlier this month, news broke that the Biden administration had closed off media access to migrant children housing facilities along the U.S.-Mexico border — conveniently citing coronavirus concerns. In its report, NBC News noted that several media organizations have requested access to or photos inside the facilities, but have been repeatedly denied.
The "gag order" demonstrates that the Biden administration is intent on stymieing public access to information about the crisis to avoid scrutiny. Meanwhile, officials are trying to recast the situation as merely a "difficult" and temporary "challenge" created by the failures of the previous administration. [Total BS. OBAMA built the cages, and now Obama 2.0 is filling them up beyond capacity - and worse.]
Yet even with the unofficial restrictions in place, some images of the action on the border have been leaked to the press or to congressional lawmakers. One such example is a video leaked to Democratic Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar's office, in which scores of migrants are shown being transported by raft across the Rio Grande.

"Republican leaders are spotlighting the heartbreak, costs, and chaos caused by President Joe Biden’s promise to welcome poor economic migrants who can survive the long trek to the United States border".
Well now... It's not really Joe Biden who is calling the shots is it...??
That geriatric senile buffoon is only a puppet.... See the strings attached to his ears..??
The biggest problem "They" have is: The distance between Joe's ears and his mouth, is interrupted by his deteriorated brain.
Who is actually calling the shots?
Who is the strategist? the tactician? the long game thinker?
WHO IS THE WIZARD BEHIND THE CURTAIN...??!?
It isn't Pelosi or Schumer, or the others in the Congress, they have their hands full of keeping their own heads above water and deflecting probes into their own actions.
(Where are Barry and Michael)...???
Ever hear of Ron Klain...?? Chief of Staff in the Biden Administration...??
Remember when we public used to hear about the inner circle around the President in years past..??
That stopped when Obama became President. No one commonly knew who the President's senior staff members were, or what the were doing.
Who does Ron Klain talk to the many times a day when his phone rings...??
Know anything about this guy...??
He was appointed by President Obama as White House Ebola Response Coordinator. Although Klain, according to Julie Hirschfeld Davis writing in The New York Times, had "no record" or expertise in Ebola specifically or public health in general.
He was previously Chief of Staff to two Vice Presidents, Al Gore from 1995 to 1999 and Joe Biden from 2009 to 2011.
Klain joined the Clinton-Gore campaign in 1992 and was involved in both of Bill Clinton's presidential campaigns.
He has huge ties to the Supreme Court nominations. He oversaw Clinton's judicial nominations.
In the White House, Klain was Associate Counsel to the President, directing judicial selection efforts and leading the team that won confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
Klain was one of the people who assisted Barack Obama in his preparation for the 2008 United States presidential debates.
After leaving the Obama administration, Klain worked as an external adviser to the Skoll Foundation Global Threats Fund and was Executive Vice President and General Counsel at the investment firm Revolution LLC.
The Skoll Foundation is a private foundation based in Palo Alto, California. The foundation makes grants and invests in social entrepreneurs through its Skoll Awards for Social Entrepreneurship, and through partnerships with and support of organizations and agencies important to social entrepreneurship networks and ecosystems. It provides opportunities for social entrepreneurs to meet with each other through support of events including the annual Skoll World Forum on Social Entrepreneurship at Oxford University, convenings, and online content platforms.
Revolution LLC is an American investment firm based in Washington, D.C., founded in 2005 by AOL co-founder Steve Case, after leaving the AOL Time Warner board.[1] The firm seeks to fund entrepreneurs who are transforming legacy industries with innovative products and services, with an overarching focus on companies that are based outside of the coastal tech hubs of NYC, SF and Boston. Basically they are awash in money, and grant it away on many ventures. Similar to laundering....
Klain is married to Monica Medina.
In the Obama administration, Medina served as Principal Deputy Undersecretary for Oceans and Atmosphere of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Medina also served as the U.S. Commissioner to the International Whaling Commission. Medina led efforts on Arctic conservation, restoration of the Gulf of Mexico after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, conservation of endangered species, and fisheries management and enforcement.
Medina later served as Special Assistant to United States Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, where she played a role in eliminating discrimination against women in the military and in addressing military sexual assault. Medina also drafted the rule overturning the ban on women from “combat” positions strictly because of their gender. Medina later served as a member of the Defense Department Advisory Committee on Women in the Services.
So who is telling Ron Klain what to do..?? Who is outlining the direction and strategy of this administration..??
Certainly its all being done by no one We The People elected...

Re: Seven Heartbreaks Caused by Joe Biden’s Progressive Border Policy
Cloward and Piven once again hold the key to this........idk why anyone who voted for Biden would be upset....Trump did try to build the wall while Biden stopped the work and left millions of tax paid for materials on the border to be stolen....Biden never said he would stop or limit or build a wall....soooo I guess the non elected embedded officials are just following the footsteps of past presidents......I already mentioned in another post why parents would send their unaccompanied minors via the cartel to the border.......we will never know if Trump tried to change those policies or not ......as we know the policy has been in force for numerous years to accept minors into the country.....most of us know the cartels have power on both sides of the border in government and otherwise.....so everyone gets something.......cartels get money to bring them over and new mules to bring in product......government gets new wards of the state and future democrat voters.....I'm wondering if anyone sees a pattern emerging with ole quid pro quo Joe ? He's been in government for the 47 years causing the problems and getting rich.....I'd bet ole Joe figured out a way to make this a win win.....lol.....

Texas border sheriff says US has an open door for illegals to enter thanks to Biden, warns things will only get worse
March 19, 2021
Texas Sheriff J.E. Guerra is not happy with how things are currently going along U.S.-Mexico border.
Illegal aliens are surging across, demanding that the Biden administration let them in and swamping Border Patrol agents.
Guerra should know, as his Hidalgo County sits on the border.
And the sheriff — a Democrat — knows where the blame lies: President Joe Biden.
In an interview with the New York Post this week, Guerra warned, "Now, basically, the border's open." And things are going to get worse if the Biden White House doesn't do something quick.
"We're hopeful with this administration, [Biden's] got an opportunity starting now but let's wait and see," he told the Post. "They've got to make a decision here pretty quick because as long as [immigrants] think that, 'Hey, the border's open,' here comes the flood, they've got to stop that."
According to Guerra, Border Patrol agents currently aren't able to do their jobs. Instead of watching the border fence and the Rio Grande River, they're now stuck working in processing centers due to the massive influx of immigrants.
The lack of agents physically manning the border has led to a surge in crime, especially smuggling organizations, the sheriff said. And the big money is in human smuggling now, instead of drug smuggling.
"[T]hey're calling all the agents on the line to go process. So all that does is opens up an opportunity for these smuggling organizations to take advantage of that," Guerra said.
He pointed out that the decrease in physical security has led to more people trying to cross, which has "fueled organized crime in Mexico because migrants and coyotes must pay a toll to the cartels in order to traverse the Rio Grande and cross into this section of Texas," the Post said.
"Your Mexican cartels are making more money on humans than they are on the drug side and right now, it's a boom. It's a boom for 'em, it's huge. ... They're making a killing right now," Guerra told the paper.
And it's because the Biden administration wasn't prepared, he said.
"The new administration came in, they changed policy, and I don't think that our federal government was prepared to have the adequate resources and you're seeing the results of that right now," Guerra added. "They don't have the resources, the boots on the ground, nor the infrastructure to handle what you're seeing and I believe that it's going to get worse if the administration doesn't go back, or limit the policy. So I feel for my partners, my federal partners.
"The previous convicted felons and the pedophiles and the people that have been convicted of sexual assault that have been deported, you'll see those coming across in droves and the cartels know that so they charge them a lot more money," Guerra continued.
The sheriff knows that the only answer is for the Biden administration to get its act together.
