A friend told me it will be his last day at church. He expects it soon.

I don't know what I'll do. Where would I go?

Our last day at church was when the bishop/stake president commanded masks to be worn - no admittance to the building unless you have a face diaper on - so the whole gay issue is a moot point right now, as far as attending church goes.

If the Church came right out (pun intended) and accepted gay marriage, for example, we would never attend again, of course - what would be the point?? That would prove there was no actual priesthood active and functioning in the Church, so why attend? Nowhere else to go, that I'm aware of - so church at home, like we do now. "Where two are three are gathered in my name, I am there."

There is a piece of poem from Alexander Pope that struck me when I read it back in the early 80s that I have sadly seen fulfilled.
Vice is a monster of so frightful mien
As to be hated needs but to be seen;
Yet seen too oft, familiar with her face,
We first endure, then pity, then embrace.

― Alexander Pope

There is nowhere else to go. The Christians are just as absurd. Though I know a few Christians whom the signs of true faith in Christ follow. Once you start to seek Christ you will be ostracized and cast out. If you’re lucky your immediate family will be with you, but that’s about it. As soon as you get on the actual straight and narrow the illusion of belonging disappears and you find it is straight and it is very narrow and solitary. It does lead to Christ though, and he makes it all worth it in the end. It’s still a difficult road to take

Some thoughts I wrote the other day, about where that path leads, that your post reminded me of:

From Isaiah 62:

12 They shall be called the holy people,
the redeemed of Jehovah;
and you shall be known as in demand,
a city never deserted.

Keep the faith.
Stay true to God's laws and principles.
Don't deviate from the true course.
The path of righteousness is a lonely and painful one now, but the loneliness of the righteous "holy city" is going to be driven out by being "in demand" or "sought out" (kjv) by the peoples of the earth in that day.

I know that this isn’t entirely on topic, but it’s been my general impression that Utah would not be the final gathering place for the Church. Parts of Utah May see a purge of the faithful, sadly enough.

Same way I received their asinine statements such as that wearing masks is "Christlike", and that the gene altering shot is a "godsend", and that giving millions of tithing dollars to evil organizations is in any way a good thing, etc. etc. etc. and then I will continue to do my best to follow Jesus - the only being we should be following. He'll let us know what to do/where to go from there.
Literally any viral infection changes the genome of the infected cells. Vaccines involve a milder form of infection to give your immune system exposure and a familiarity with the germ in question.

That is not the point of my comment. You apparently missed my point. Also, there is no "covid-19" virus that has ever been seen or isolated by anyone on the planet. There is no form of covid in these "vaccines", so no, they are not going to give your immune system exposure and a familiarity with the germ in question. By any medical standard - and by the producers themselves, these are not vaccines. This has all been covered a thousand times on any one of the many threads dedicated to the covid fraud.
