BYU Raynbow day 3/4/21

interesting day at BYU. I didn't go there, and I wouldn't send my kids there. Progressive Looneyville University these days. actually, I don't think I would recommend any 4 year university or college in the USA at this point. Better to go get an IT or welding certificate from a community college.

beards are not ok, but gay pride is perfectly acceptable? welcome to Honk World, Provo style.

The Rainbow folks are saying the flier you posted is hate speech, and they have been taking them down as fast as they can. So you can have Rainbow Pride Day, but not Family Proclamation Day.

Got it.

I am extremely frustrated that Canadian tithe payers money goes directly to BYU. It definitely has become Babylon University. The fact that the Quorum of the 12 refuse to do anything about it is greatly disturbing. When the honor code had those adjustments, the flood gates of hell were opened wide.

The Living Christ and the Family Proclamation need to be added to the Doctrine and Covenants.

Only a matter of time before the Proclamation is thrown under the bus completely. All to satisfy the gay mob

Expect to see gay “marriages” in a Temple near you soon

Here's the original tweet BYU commented on.

Thought this was an interesting comment someone made.

"For a church culture which protects its institution at all costs above almost every other consideration it will be interesting to see what happens when protecting the institution means distancing from those who think they’re defending it."

Stealing the symbol of a covenant of God to proclaim commitment to violate the law of chastity and eternal identity. Perverse. The rainbow belongs only to God.

Am I awful for wishing they just would do it so the fight and confusion would be over?

Let’s take back the rainbow. If schools have to change their name or their mascots name because of supposed racial offenses than I petition that the L.... not use the rainbow.

Gen. 9:13, The rainbow represents a token or covenant between the Lord and the earth.
And we all know that he will not cleanse the earth by flood again. Next time it’s by fire.

Stop using the rainbow symbol ironically! We want the usage back as a covenant symbol!

I wouldn't be surprised to discover they've already happened in some temples, in secret.

It's why I wrote this poem (which I've shared a couple times before on this forum, in case it sounds familiar).

Heal the Broken Rainbows

Pink for perversion in sex, it's true
Red for the life that they can't have with you
Orange is for healing, though healer you fight
Yellow brings light, yet pride wanders at night
Green is for nature, that which is forsook
Turquoise for magic, counterfeit, crook
Blue harmony, shrill screams in its face
Violet's the Spirit chased out of this place

When Baker bakes flags, he's not telling the truth
Broken’s your token, climb out of your noose
Come home to the Fixer, the Healer, the Friend
Clothed in real rainbows from now through the end

Red is for love, the kind that God feels
In questions of right, it never rebels
Orange is for strength, of fire, of flame
Ask Him for help, My God is His name
Yellow is light, God's truth shows the way
And tells you, with righteousness you'll be okay
Green speaks of freedom from bondage of sin
And says Godly nature can be yours again
Blue is the blue sky of life-giving air
Breath it in deeply, release troubling care
Sincere indigo with integrity true
Align with God's law and you'll be true too
Purple is faithful patience and trust
See God, take His hand, arise from the dust

Your rainbow maligns and deceives, it's misused
You're broken, I'm broken, we've all been abused
God's rainbow shows mercy, a covenant of life
There's no Exaltation 'cept husband and wife
Your future is bright if the truth you'll embrace
Stop fighting your God, don't spit in His face
One day we'll be healed, all wrongs be made right
Come champion His rainbow, come walk in His light

It’s persecution either way. “Let it begin in my house.” I say it’s on the Lords side who!

"Marginalizing and persecuting people based on age, gender, nationality, religious preference, sexual orientation, or anything else is evil and horrifying." - M. Russell Ballard

"No unclean thing can enter my presence." - God (marginalizer)

"Celestial (Father's Presence), Terrestrial (marginalized), Telestial (marginalized), Outer Darkness (marginalized), temporal mortality (marginalized)...

God is going to destroy everything telestial heading into the millennium.

God marginalizes, which is a reason why we preach repentance...
