Re: News You Can’t Possibly Use
Maybe within the USA itself, but US foreign policy has been one of the chief drivers of this. Hollywood and US pop culture lead the way to homogenising culture worldwide, and the US government has been behind projects like NATO, which has now gone way beyond its Cold War origins, and even helped projects like the EU (formerly EEC etc.) get off the ground. The US also maintains bases in numerous countries as well as influencing their governments.lundbaek wrote: ↑February 10th, 2021, 10:21 am George Soros stated that the “main obstacle to a stable and just world order is the United States.”
Furthermore, Paul Warburg said, “We will have a world government whether you like it or not. The only question is whether that government will be achieved by conquest or consent.”
So, we can clearly see that America is still under threat of terrorism, both within and without.

The reason I put this here is because "We The People" probably cannot do much of anything about it now. Especially if we don't try.
It goes without saying that the US$ is the de facto global currency too.

This is just changing language for the sake of it.abijah` wrote: ↑February 10th, 2021, 2:59 pm Midwives told to say ‘chestfeeding’ instead of ‘breastfeeding’ to be more trans-friendly
“Breastmilk” should be described as “human milk” or “breast/chestmilk” or “milk from the feeding mother or parent”, according to Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust.
Staff should also replace the term “mother” with “mother or birthing parent”. Other changes include replacing “woman” with “woman or person”, and “father” with “parent”, “co-parent” or “second biological parent”.
If someone with XY chromosomes (!) wishes to feed a baby that way, they will still need breasts to do so. There are a few men who have fed babies that way but they still needed to grow breasts in order to do so after a course of hormones. So it doesn't even work with the whole trans thing either.

I find it morbidly amusing how the Taliban have more or less become internet s***lords, incorporating meme/internet culture as one of their approaches. Clown world.

"Former nurse says NHS made her ‘fart against her will’"
"A former nurse has sued the NHS, claiming that she was subject to hypnosis “experiments” at work which made her “fart against her will”. Xandra Samson, who worked at Ealing Hospital in London before being sacked in December 2019, told a tribunal she was the target of a little-known hypnotic practice called the “ideomotor phenomenon”, which allegedly forces people into unconscious behaviours. She lost the case."

Bomb squad called to hospital after man with WWII-era mortar stuck in his rectum
GLOUCESTER, Eng. (TND) — A bomb squad was reportedly called to a hospital in England after a man arrived with a mortar shell stuck in his rectum.
The Sun reports medics were fearful the mortar could possibly still be live and therefore could still explode.
"The 57mm mortar round was used by the Royal Artillery in the Second World War as anti-tank rounds, though it would later also be used by British tanks in North Africa," reported Gloucestershire Live.
According to a source, the man was a collector of military memorabilia and somehow "slipped and fell" onto the round.
