What would that scripture mean to us today, If it were quoted from an apostle of the Lord? (Recently)Please any insight is welcome.1st Nephi 2:20

I believe that we have been told but many are just not listening. Hence, we have many in the Church who still think that "all is well".the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets."
Perhaps we are going to see the unrighteous swept off this continent soon? I think we will see Gay Marriage Laws take full effect in the next few years. I think then, the gloves will be off and the promise in the Proclamation to the World will be fulfilled and we will see "the calamities foretold by ancient and modern prophets."
