For those of you who might be interested the Electoral College votes tomorrow 14 DEC 2020. This is ususally at your state capital at noon local time but you might want to check for your state's particulars.
I, for one, try to make it a habit to go over to my state capital and watch this usually obscure bit of political drama play out in person.

Re: The Electoral College votes tomorrow 14 DEC 2020
So I decided to go over to the state capital at noon and to watch this whole process.
First off in my state there were six electors, one for each house district and two so call senatorial electors. The electors are selected by the parties so in the case of my state there were six Republican electors, the ones that voted, as well as six Democratic and six Libertarian electors. Those electors, the Democratic and Libertarian ones joined the public in the gallery. There are also alternate electors in the event someone can't vote for some reason.
The electorial voting is supervised by the Speaker of the State House (GOP) the Minority Leader of the State House (Dem.) and the Clerk of the State House (professional state employee) The clerk runs the election the other two watch. The three of them count the votes while there are three members of the media who watch, and record them doing it.
Unlike in a general election the electors do not get to vote by secret ballot. They each get a ballot first for president and then vice-president. The ballots have their names on them and the elector must mark it and then sign it. Then they are handed back to the clerk who along with the other two count them.
Once done, the clerk and the Speaker of the State House (GOP) the Minority Leader of the State House (Dem.) certify the votes of the electors and then a set of five affidavits of that certification are signed by the electors and the three supervisors. Each elector and the three running the election must sign seperate copies of the affidavits as well. There is a great deal of signing of paper in this process.
The electors also took pictures of their seperate ballots with their phones, this was a new thing. The whole process was both open to the public who were invited to view the ballots and affidavits upon completion and was both filmed and broadcasted live on public television live.
It would be very hard if not impossible to rig the electoral vote as far as I could tell.
