If I'm not mistaken, That doesn't mean much. I'm fairly certain you can forward your domain to another domain that you don't own. I'm not a fan of Networks and most hosting I've worked with is cloud hosting so I'm def not an expert by any means.
I think it may depend on your provider.. I could be wrong.. but yeah.

Killer of Patriot Prayer Participant Called Himself "100% Antifa"
The suspect in the shooting and killing of a pro-Trump demonstrator in Portland over the weekend is a far-left activist who self-identifies as “100% Antifa” and who has a prior arrest for illegally possessing a firearm while fighting with police during a riot.
Michael Forest Reinoehl, 48, is accused of fatally shooting Aaron “Jay” Danielson (also known as Jay Bishop), who was killed on Saturday while in Portland participating in the right-wing event Patriot Prayer.
The Oregonian reports that Reinoehl calls himself an anti-fascist and has posted videos and photos of demonstrations he has been a part of since June, often accompanied by the hashtags #blacklivesmatter, #anewnation, and #breonnataylor.
The Oregonian notes:
Reinoehl’s posts indicate he attended many protests in Portland that began three months ago after the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis under the knee of a police officer.
On July 5 at one of the demonstrations, Reinoehl was cited at 2:10 a.m. in the 700 block of Southwest Main Street on allegations of possessing a loaded gun in a public place, resisting arrest and interfering with police
He was given a date to appear in court later that month, but the allegations were dropped on July 30 with a “no complaint,” according to court records. The documents don’t indicate why prosecutors decided not to pursue the accusations. Reinoehl spent no time behind bars.
