I would assume it's when the prophet calls the saints to leave their homes and gather together and take refuge from the storms as a a people (tent city anyone). :? The saints will gather together for safety and protection in the end.

A couple weeks ago two families I know got layed off. Because of God blessing us so much with our food storage I was able to take a bunch of stuff to both families. I do feel like We will be blessed when we share. I don't think a call out will happen anytime soon. I think we will have to see a lot more persecution ect. I think some people are blind to what is going on because they literally couldn't handle facing the truth.

Awesome Nan, you shared your food storage! Good for you. Some think such an act is contrary to God's plan

Who knows, maybe this website will be shut down cause I can no longer afford it
If it comes to that, let's all help with what we can to keep this site running. Maybe you need to post what you need each month for expenses and we can all chip in to support it. I'm willing to do what I can, as long as others will help, too.

And along other lines
If things don't improve we may have to move out of the condo we are renting, luckily we have family in the area but I would prefer not to be a burden on them.
Families are going to have to help each other like never before. My sister and her husband rented our basement for 5 1/2 years. It wasn't always easy but I do believe that it was a blessing both to them and us, to be able to share our home. Since they are moving to Missouri to stay with her daughter, I have invited my daughter (Ndjili) and her husband and son to come and live with us. They have their own home and are very financially responsible and are not having any money problems, but I think the time is coming when my son-in-law's work may be affected. This way, we can pool our resources and food storage. Also, they will be very helpful in helping me with my aged father. That will mean I have four generations living in my home.

I honestly believe the time is coming soon when we'll have to take in family members and friends just to survive. So don't feel bad about sharing your home. (I'd rather share with my family than strangers assigned to me by the bishop.) At any rate, we are going to have to pull together or we'll fail.

Very sombering to hear some of the stories. I have been lucky and so far I have not had to let any employees go. We have had a lot of customers go bankrupt, close doors, or just stop being able to pay. Luckily we've picked up some other customers since several of our competitors are also going belly-up (leaves more work for us). We have been ok for the past month or so but suddenly this week I am sitting behind the desk with no work and nothing on the schedule for next week. This sometimes happens but I never know when it will all stop altogether. so on days like this I am calling customers who owe money. I used to work to make money. Now I'm working just to try to get the money we already "made".

I believe the Lord has a plan, I hope it happens soon because many of the things we are seeing are beyond most of our control. He steps in after we have done all that we can do.

Not considered in this report are the U6 unemployed...
U6, on the other hand, is the broadest measure of Unemployment: It includes those people counted by U3, plus marginally attached workers (not looking, but want and are available for a job and have looked for work sometime in the recent past), as well as Persons employed part time for economic reasons (they want and are available for full-time work but have had to settle for a part-time schedule).
Unemployment Reporting: A Modest Proposal (U3 + U6)

Unemployment hits 25-year high

The "real" rate is 18%. We know the unofficial rate is much, much higher.

As of March 15, 2009 I am no longer under the employment of the Pure Energy Systems Network, (run by apparently, a "former" member of this Forum) due to the current "economic situation". I personally believe it is because I do not take the owner's bent on environmentalism (I personally believe it is now his new-found religion, replacing Mormonism in his belief system) and have bumped heads with him on Global Warming (I created a page on "Global Cooling" on PESWIki.com that he fought) and it being a Psy-Ops activity, the deleterious effects of Compact Fluorescent Lamps in our society (I created a page on the Downsides of CFLs of PESWiki.com, based on personal experiences and much research, which he also fought) and the fact that petroleum is abundant ("Abiotic Oil" and "North American Oil Fields" on PESWiki.com, which he begrudgingly allowed me to publish) and it being a renewable resource found on earth and on other planets (it isn't "dino fuel").

I got incredibly positive feedback from readers and other New Energy Congress members (I am no longer a card-carrying member, also as of yesterday. I resigned. A few others also quit before I did.) and built the site from 1,000 page views per month to close to 25 million per month - an 800-fold increase in traffic in less than one year. But revenues were down.

I was told I was released because I am "slow" and "difficult to work with". "Slow" to me was being methodical and correct and did research on topics and posted the results, as apposed to just creating "shovelware", as had been previously done. "Difficult to work with" because I consistently showed how I was not going to be used as a tool by the "Economists"(tm) in promoting and expanding the NWO agenda.

I also earlier quickly resigned from his anti-Mormon Davidic group, after I found out what it really was (not "modern revelation", but a tool to pull members of the church away from the gospel and run by ex-members).

I also refused to go along with trying to collect funds (grants) from the Al Gore, Inc. carbon credit scam (now the cap and trade scam that is taxing the air we breathe).

I tried to find common ground. I put my heart, soul and resources (time and effort) into promoting and building PESWiki into something successful (3-years effort into 13 months). Unfortunately that was not enough. I would not sacrifice the little bit of the spirit of discernment I have been blessed with (calling out {exposing} the nonsense, instead of swallowing it hook, line and sinker) or compromise my LDS principles.

So now I once again live by faith. God will provide. He always has. He has given me wonderful experiences to learn from and to cherish. I did as we were told by President Hinkley - I stood up for "something" - Liberty and Truth.

I helped start the employment program back in 1996 that grew from a pilot program in our stake and it has blossomed into a church-wide, worldwide program. I'm still in it. This past week I agreed to work at the Stake level to really make it magnify here locally. I have 6 others in my ward who are professionals, who are seeking employment as well. And we will meet on Tuesday evenings for the foreseeable future as we develop the people network at the local, Stake and regional levels. Apparently the LDS employment office is "pushing back" to get the Ward "Coordinators" (we were "specialists") more involved.
