I got a text this morning from this friend. She said she wasn't actually sick, but they isolated her in the hospital for two weeks. I told her she would have been better off just staying home and she agreed. (My guess is that a doctor took a covid test as part of a checkup and insisted she go to a hospital; her sons would have also insisted if they had known the results.)Silver Pie wrote: ↑November 25th, 2020, 2:56 pmAn elderly friend of mine is in the hospital with it, but no one has told me how sick she is.
I honestly believe there is more harm than good done mentally and emotionally by all of this "solitary confinement" of people who test positive for covid.
(Edit: I would guess this friend is around her mid-eighties.)
