China’s Global Lockdown Propaganda Campaign

And the results:

China appears to be making their move and the fact that many of our "leaders" are involved including some here, is disturbing to say the least. Where are these so-called human-rights watchers now? What they do/have done to their own citizenry is pure evil. It's inane that people in this country are selling us out and we're letting them do it...in broad daylight.

We don't live under a communist regime and shouldn't act like it. They will take everything if you let them...it's what they've always done and will do again. Doesn't history show this? Doesn't the BOM show this? Doesn't the early history of the saints show this? I suppose people love their black mirror more.

Wouldn't doubt it for a minute.

This is the true level of "science" today.

Kate Dalley asked these great questions -

"All my LDS friends and of course all friends of faith:
How many of you ( I’ll keep this general for all faiths ) or I should say, how many times have you been asked to administer and bless all of the disease infected cases/persons with Covid in your wards/congregations/stakes?
To either bless the sick or assist with that?
Especially any of you ecclesiastical leaders?
I’m guessing you must have received hundreds of calls for help by now?
Or maybe more. With the mass hysteria over the masks, I’m sure the pressure to mask up is happening because you’ve been inundated.
Can you just approximate the number of times you were called to help?
20, 50, 75, over 100? 200? 300?
I don’t need an exact number.
If you are the spouse, how many times do you recall your spouse getting a call for help?
Just leave the number in the comments. Thank you for helping with research!
I’m just trying to get a sense of the numbers. And by the way, thank you to all of you who have served in this way. ❤️"

I know of several stakes where the leadership has forbidden priesthood holders from administering to the sick. Fascinating stuff. There haven't been any priesthood blessings given for covid in our ward, because there haven't been any cases of covid in our ward (or stake, that we've heard of).

Anyway, the replies to her post were interesting - the vast majority answered "0", and a few had 1, or 2. You'd think there would be hundreds and thousands of people being asked to give blessings to help thwart this plague that is killing everyone, but nope. I do know of blessings being given for depression and feelings of hopelessness quite a bit this year - but zero for this virus that has still never been seen.

The debate over COVID policy is split along two lines: pro-freedom or anti-freedom. There really is no in between. You're either for allowing for human beings to make their own decisions, or you're for granting complete control over your life to politicians and bureaucrats.

Around 2009 when the daily news included the deaths of H1N1, my immune suppressed daughter (because of a liver transplant) caught H1N1 at school from a student whose mother would rather have her child kill people than have to hire a babysitter.

We had a standing invitation to the Elders to come for dinner anytime they wanted, even unannounced. When we did not have enough prepared when they showed up, we just ordered pizza or something. We fed them probably a hundred times.

One day when they came over, they asked where my daughter was and I told them she was sick. I asked them if they would administer to her. They asked what her illness was. When I said H1N1, they fled quickly and said they were under strict orders to stay away from it and NOT to administer. I never saw anyone move as fast as those boys did that day. And they never came back. Ever.

Man, they could have offered a prayer, at least. Rules is rules, though. You don't want to mess up your mission through disobedience.

Well, as it turned out, God came through anyway.
She got pretty sick and Primary Childrens Hospital in Salt Lake told us that there was very little hope, but that if she checked into the hospital in isolation and was connected to an IV, at least there would be doctors around constantly, that if anything at all could be done, they would be able to do it. She was 9 years old. Being immune suppressed, they could not give her any antibiotics as it could make her reject her liver if her body decided it was a foreign object. So it was decided that the following day she would check into PCH to probably die.

My ward in West Valley had almost 100 Elders. We filled the choir seats which is where we met. Anyway about a week earlier they had given us all a pamphlet on how to administer ordinances and a consecrated bottle of oil. Perfect timing. I hadn't been an Elder very long as I had only been clean and sober for about 4 years at the time. I had led a rather promiscuous life of smoking, alcohol, and such which is why I had asked the missionaries to administer to her.

But, here I was with not many alternatives. On the one hand I did not have any great expectations that God would do anything that I asked. I didn't serve a mission like 4 of my brothers did. But I really loved that little girl and if there was anything that I could even possibly do I was on it. So I read the pamphlet and it said I could do it by myself. So when she went to sleep, I held the pamphlet in one hand and the oil in the other and asked God if He would spare her life.

In the morning her mother took her to PCH and they returned in about an hour. I asked what had happened as I did not expect them to return. The doctor had examined her upon registration and found no evidence of H1N1.

So it made believers out of several people because everyone around us was sure she was going to die. Being that it had a happy ending, I am grateful for having had the experience. I still do not have confidence that God will grant me a miracle. But He might. And so I am no longer afraid to ask.

When the Brethren suggest that we do our own healings as opposed to asking someone of supposed higher authority, I can see that it is highly unlikely that anyone else would have had as much humility or emotion in their plea for help.

Wow! Those are the kinds of things that should be happening all the time. Humble people petitioning God, with love for the afflicted filling their hearts and souls, and seeing God's wonderful miracles. This, not elders fleeing at the mention of a certain disease.

Fred, that's an awesome story!

I think you are right in the sweet spot for having your requests granted by God.

You have to make an appointment to use the public library now. You check in and out. They disinfect at regular intervals. I overheard an employee assuring an elderly person that it’s the same disinfectant they use in hospitals.
