a lot can be told of a candidate by observing their supporters, and their supporters’ conduct in response to that candidate. which is why optically speaking, democrats seems impotent and trump seems strong.

Democrat platform: "We hate a person! We want a person gone! That person's bad! Screw you if you have guns or don't think being nailed with sexual harassment charges for greeting a woman is fair!"

From the outset, the president has the greatest possible advantage in core messaging when it comes to presenting the more "optimistic" face.
