Mitt absolutely despises that Trump was elected POTUS & he was not. The sore loser mentality launched this sham Impeachment & corruptly rigged & jammed it through the house. Its looks like Schiff recruited himself a sore loser a buddy on the GOP side to play along.

The senate just acquitted trump on one count, and are in the middle of voting on the second article as I type this. Romney voted guilty, and I think he realizes that this is pretty much the end of his career. When he was running for president, I saw when his wife was on "The View". Those nasty, harpees tried their best to get to her, but she was impressive and the epitome of grace. I couldn't help but wonder at the time why wasn't SHE running for president and not her candy @#$ husband?

I have contacted my state rep and have asked her to support the recall bill currently in the UT state house.
I will be signing that recall petition.

I appreciate and admire the courage and integrity of Mitt Romney. On a day like this we miss McCain, and wish more of the republicans had a backbone.
That being said, this was the expected result all along. I just look forward to the American people removing the current president in November.

Yes. Way to go Mitt Romney for standing up for the ongoing and completely transparent attempt at a coup d'etat by the globalists. So courageous.

For those that know me, I'm one of the staunchest defenders of the faith that you might know. However, today, thanks to Mitt Romney, I am actually embarrassed to be a mormon and the same religion as that idiot. He is petty, he is arrogant, and he is an elitist. He would rather some other liberal elite run our government and ruin lives than somebody who is not cut from the same cloth but is doing right for the country. This guy is truly an embarrassment to our church. Marion G Romney is probably hiding his face on the other side, on account of this nit-wit.

Yep. This stuff is multi-generational...
And Mormons were blind sheep back then too... Utah majority voted for Lyndon Johnson over patriot Barry Goldwater in the 1964 Presidential Election.

What a disgusting man.
He supports abortion, he supports sodomite marriage, and now this "profoundly religious" Mormon has just painted all of us with his slime.

Like I've said before it became obvious Romney was a Dem or more accurately a Deep State Globalist hack, back in 2016 when he openly and very publicly attacked Trump in a attack far more scathing than anything we saw against Obama or any of the leftist filth in the Democratic Party.

It's clear to me none of you read what Romney said or watch his speech. None of you are answering the question of whether what Trump clearly did was wrong. In Romney's view he was. You can disagree with that, that's fine.
But by denying Romney his vote you deny his agency, which is anti-Christ.
It appalls me that so many here would follow a crude and clearly corrupt individual like Trump over something as simple as party. All this impeachment debacle proved is that both parties are corrupt. Both fought for and voted for their own power -- dividing the rest of us in the process.
I beg of you to bust free of your loyalty to party are to start supporting true conscience. I could agree that Trump has done some things right. But those things are not strong enough to overcome the real louse that he is. His manner, his style, his never-ending ego, his constant badgering and belittling of others is not only contrary to his station it too is anti-Christ. And you would go over a cliff for this guy.
This is a representative Republic. I look for more from those representing me.
Romney can sleep at night knowing he voted his conscience over either party. He's got no skin in this game. He'll never be President and may not even run for re-election. He's going to be near his late 70s this next time around. He clearly is a pariah to both parties, especially now, and he was/is well aware of what his vote would generate. Yet he did it anyway. If you are honest you have to question why.
But most of you are just like Trump -- reacting, name-calling, justifying unjustifiable behavior not only in the President, but now in yourselves.
Trump very clearly exerted pressure on a foreign power to investigate a political rival. You're okay with that?

Did you hear Trump's speech at the Pro-Life rally?
Romney is pro-choice.
Don't tell me that Romney is morally superior to Trump.

Apparently you have no idea what courage and integrity is. Also, if you are in favor of that impeachment you are grossly ignorant of law and legal procedure.
You also mention that low life bottom dweller from Arizona. I cannot understand which of those two filthy swine is worse. They are/were both despicable privileged creeps.

Excuse you but Biden and his son 100% should be investigated. Do you honestly think they shouldn't??
Unfortunately, Trump didn't demand it. No, he gave Ukraine the money without an investigation. But hey, don't let the truth get in your way of slandering Trump.

So is Trump not allowed to request investigations into criminal activity by Americans if they're his political rivals? The Democrats sure don't have a problem investigating their political rivals using what are supposed to be non-partisan agencies like the FBI by creating fake dossiers and FISA abuse. No one wants to bring that up in fact the mainstream media is attempting to bury that story which is 10x worse than what Trump allegedly did with Ukraine.
This was an attempted coup by the Democratic Party and the Globalist elite in a desperate attempt to void the 2016 election results. Romney is a part of the latter which basically makes him the former.
I know Trump is crude, abrasive, and offensive. But he's exactly the kind of man our smug, half-baked intellecual lefties deserve. He's in office precisely because of their hubris. He will be reelected largely for the same reasons.

Yes^ plain and simple.
Are you kidding us? Romney was attacking Trump even before Trump became President. This buffoon would rather have had Hillary because she was from the same crowd as Romney.
You can admire Romney all you like, but that doesnt change the fact that he is indeed spineless. He has changed his stripes so many times to get elected or to try and get votes, no one knows what he really ever stood for. So far though, it seems like he has thrown in his lot with Babylon. Just look at his voting record as not just a senator, but when he was the governor of Massachusetts and you'll see what this guy is about. In some ways, he is worse than McCain, though I doubt McCain would have voted guilty like Mitt did. Not even Collins or Murkowski bought it. Please dont say it was their loyalty to party either, those two have often shirked at party lines and gone to bed with the Dems. They understood that this really has been nothing but blown up and "trumped up" charges against our President. Was he 100 percent kosher in how he did it? Probably not. Were their some tough conversations about other countries that probably shouldnt have made the 6 o'clock news? Yeah. Is anybody naive enough to believe that these same type or worse conversations havent happened with other sitting Presidents? Or playing hardball with countries we want some cooperation from is unheard of? You really think somebody who's background like Obama's, from the corrupt political machine Chicago is known for, didnt also bend the rules as well?
For those that are still arguing for the moral high ground here, what really is the issue? You have a President who is aware of some major financial corruption/ law breaking that is being committed by a political rivals family in another country. He asks the leader of said country to investigate it. So now it's wrong to ask for leadership to investigate corruption? Obama pretty much gave orders to the IRS to audit more heavily conservative organizations. He used his direct authority to direct our own federal agencies to harm organizations that he deemed a threat to his policies. Why wasn't he impeached for corruption? Where was the outrage? Yet, Pres Trump asks another country to simply check their own backyard and he is now worse than Nixon?
Romney is a hack. This guy is a Democrat plant and Mormons in Utah are stupid enough to elect this idiot on his name alone. I stand by what I said earlier and say he is an embarrassment to us all. Worse, he has given the impression that all Mormons are like him and that we secretly are liberal Democrats. I'm wondering if people will start googling when Utah will turn blue and whether we support abortion and gay marriage too? Thanks to Mitt, we certainly have that perception now.
