We're legally out of the EU and no longer members, as of 11pm on the 31st January. There is now an 11 month transition period during which new trading arrangements will be hammered out etc, which will conclude on the 31st December.
But we are now out! :D

You need to double down on the Commonwealth and figure out some way to get the US to join it.

Following the formal end of the war for American Independence there was a deportation of many of those who supported the "crown", including some of my ancestors. I would like to suggest that you pack the lot of the anti-Brexiteers over to Belgium before they sabotage your accomplishments.

I'd love it if the US joined the Commonwealth, even as an associate member. It makes so much sense and would be beneficial to all.

Common law was later inherited by the Commonwealth of Nations, and almost every former colony of the British Empire has adopted it (Malta being an exception). The doctrine of stare decisis, also known as case law or precedent by courts, is the major difference to codified civil law systems. ... Based on English common law.
