World hunger nearly solved thanks to the free market

Thanks to the free market and capitalism and technology for farming and transportation, the percentage of people in the world living with hunger is nearly 0. Capitalism saves lives. Free markets solve social issues. World hunger was not solved by government programs or socialist redistribution programs.
Malthusian predictions were wrong. Even with exponentially increasing population, more and more people have food. We have not run out.
I'm excited to see food tech progress to the point where everyone can grow their own food in their own house, and where robotic systems produce food cleanly and safely. Here's to the future.
