Brother B. wrote: January 21st, 2020, 10:23 am I suppose it depends on your screen size... On mine, if there's no sidebar, it seems too wide. Are you on laptops or small screens?
Brian, I'm on a laptop, and there is a blue/gray block of color (with the Angel Moroni and trumpet icon in the middle) that extends about 1/3 down from the top of the screen. It never goes away - there doesn't seem to be a way to retract it - so there isn't much space to actually read posts. Can you make that go away, or retract up or something? It was nice having the whole screen to read posts on - feels very squished this way. Thanks for all your work with the forum.
It is much better now - thank you!

Hey Brian, one thing I've noticed: when I get a notification, I see an indicator on the right sidebar for a PM, but I have no new PMs. There's an indicator on the bell icon up top that's correct, so the indicator should be on the Notifications line. I'm running on Chrome on a laptop.

Anybody else getting this?

I'm not actually seeing any kind of a theme unless black and white is a theme.

You might need to try refreshing the page a few times (or clear your cache). That should have been resolved previously.

Coolness 8-)

Now I see originator and latest poster too, on my iPhone. Where before it only showed originator.

Still awaiting Time Machine mode. :P

I just added some additional design tweaks, contributed by forum member oneClimbs! Much appreciation to him.

It looks good, Brother B. I like that the avatars are a decent size again. I like that the notifications and the envelope for PMs are on the upper right side again, so I don't miss a notification that I have a pm. I like that you've kept the endless quoting of each other in a small box.

I like this update better than the last one, by far.

Well, that's good. Thinker had a spoiler on several of her posts in the past and nothing ever happened when I clicked on the word. When I clicked on your "spoiler", I could see what was hidden.

A fresh start is always nice I think - at least in the "thanks" category.

I'm really loving these latest changes. All the features from the previous edition that didn't get transferred over are back. This is great, Brian. Thanks.

There's only one thing and that's that the page numbers are still below the Quick Reply box. That means I sometimes miss them thinking there's only one page. Not a huge problem but it's the one thing I wish were different.

I just made a few more little mobile tweaks (to the "Latest Post" page).

Also on the drop-down menu I added "Search via Google". It can be helpful if you're searching for something on the forum and are not finding it via the regular forum search feature.

All I see is white, doesn't look like a theme at all, can I do something to see the theme?

Can you post a screenshot of what you're seeing? Maybe you're interpreting the word "theme" differently?

I can take a screenshot but can't find a way to post it.

When you're writing your post, in the "full editor", there is an "Attachments" link where you can "Add Files", find the file, then click "Place Inline" to add it to the post.

This is probably what it should look like (at least on a laptop; I think it should look similar on a phone, but I don't think I've logged in via phone since this last update):
