The chicken little problem

Jade Helm, FEMA Camp, false flags, these forums are filled with speculation on these and similar matters. They usually give dates which come and go without out anything to show for it. The posts will often link to websites, or, more often than not, YouTube videos where some commentator lays out the case for why something nefarious is afoot.
I am going to suggest that all of this is what I will call the " chicken little problem". Is it possible that people are being feed these sorts of narratives so that they will go online with panicked presentations? Only time and again the predicted events do not come to pass and everyone wakes up the next day, week, month later only to find everything the same as it has always been. What better ways to discredit the denizens of these sorts of reports that to feed false information to them and then watch as the predictions of evil doing turn to dust over time?
In effect, are those who promote this sort of doom's day predictions being played for fools, being strung along to make all manner of false waring that the sky is falling so that in time most people will dismiss them as cranks who have no idea what they are talking about? Are we about to seen this in action again on Monday in Richmond, Virginia? Will Monday come and go with a big protest at the state capital, perhaps a handful of arrests, and then…nothing yet again?

Or maybe there IS something nefarious that is being planned, so "the cabal" puts out controlled sky-is-falling media out there knowing that the predictions will fail --- doing this to lull away everybody into a false sense of security.
On a serious note: I agree with you.

A group of people are preparing to take away everything we have.... This is part of our doctrine.
These "events" serve multiple purposes. They're conditioning the public to discount these things because they never happen, and they're for test runs/ wargames.
There's obviously a good dose of crazy people makes ish up. This also serves their purpose.
Make no mistake though....there is a pit, and they will start their push eventually

A camel doesn't barge into a tent. It comes in at the nose then the head then the ears, hoping no one will see and everyone goes to sleep. It's not until you are kicked out of the shelter when the rude awakening happens.
It's like wondering when someone develops obsessive compulsive disorder. It doesn't happen overnight. But at some point you wake up and realize the ability to function is out of reach.
The nefarious denizens have been around a long time. But the principles our country stands for have protected us. Personal responsibility, morality, family, God, frugality, honesty, wisdom, humility, forgiveness and love.
The king men have tried to take ground for thousands of years. What the book of Revelations teaches is the devil will have power to overcome the saints for a short time.
So it will happen. It is happening. The sky isn't just falling. The heavens will be unrolled like a giant scroll.
It may take a hundred years. But, sufficient today is the evil thereof.

To my mind the most important statement so far on this thread is by Nightlight: "A group of people are preparing to take away everything we have.... This is part of our doctrine." Latter-day Saints were warned about this conspiracy years ago, but no longer do we hear of it. Last warning I know of was by President Packer on Pg. 23 of the August 2010 Ensign.

I believe the all too human interpretation of scripture and prophecy is at play. We all know it is going to happen. So events are watched and whispered about. Every once in a while something terrible happens and we hear people say, "Aha! I knew it!"
But honestly we can't live like this. The OP is right. The predictions are most often wrong. The chicken little problem is real enough.
I can remember my grandfather talking about this stuff and he said, "Just stay close to the brethren and you'll be okay. Pray -- and you will know."
He hasn't been wrong yet.

I am skeptical about a lot of “conspiracy theories” that seem paranoid, exaggerated or otherwise unlikely based on facts. And frankly, a lot I don’t know for sure - though few do.
Yet, there is one over-arching conspiracy theory that is being played out clearly: lowering the population. And it is a stated goal - to reduce the world-wide population drastically to 500,000,000 on public display in several languages on the Georgia Guidestones... (in Georgia State, US)
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Georgia_Guidestones
This horrible goal of population reduction has been being gradually worked on by:
*Wars
*Abortion, including government funding
*Pushing homosexuality which both statistically reduces life-span and prevents procreation.
*Birth Control (I don’t object to most forms yet it still reduces population)
*Other ways
If anyone objects to this, please back it with facts.

I've heard that stone was paid for by none other than media mogul Ted Turner. What I don't understand though is why you'd want to reduce the birth rates so drastically in first world countries and not third world countries where they actually could benefit from lower birth rates.

Alex Jones Storms Richmond Rally In 'Battle Tank'
January 20, 2020
Always the showman, InfoWars founder Alex Jones, the reactionary scourge of liberal Austin, Texas, showed up to Monday's "Lobby Day" anti-gun control rally in Richmond in a battle tank, cruising the streets near the rally with a bullhorn, helping to kick the overall energy level up a few notches.
Jones has been laying low lately, or at least it seems that way
now that Infowars has been banned from practically every mainstream social media platform, including YouTube. Recently, the mainstream media and the American justice system - which sided against him in a case filed by parents of Sandy Hook shooting victims - seem to have conspired to take him down.
Yet here he is, driving a 'tank' down Richmond's streets, ensuring that he will be impossible to ignore.

Fair question. A lot of poorer countries have higher rates of infant and childhood deaths. It’s as if they are as we were 100+ years ago. Yet, I’ve heard of deceptive sterilization via some “immunizations” in a poorer country. Maybe they figure also that the richer countries consume so much more resources, proportionately, than poorer countries.
“Most of the 25,000 children under five that die each day are concentrated in the world's poorest countries in sub-Saharan Africa and South Asia. There, the child mortality rate is 29 times greater than in industrialized countries: 175 deaths per 1000 children compared with 6 per 1000 in industrialized countries...”

Let's say it's 100 steps to tyrrany. If I were trying to bring it about, I'd rather have people concerned about the 25-step events that never happen than the one step that does. Better that they focus on Richmond, Virginia rather than the internet censorship law that passes or whatever. Or better to focus on the march than the actual taking of firearms, etc.

Dissident Patriot@Disspat
- On the left is the aftermath of women's Pink Pussy Hat march. On the right is the 2nd Amendment Rally in Richmond, VA. Gun rights advocates cleaned up and left the place the way it was when they showed up. As per usual, liberals left massive amounts of garbage all over the place that had to be cleaned up by the city. Proud of all the great patriots who showed them what personal responsibility looks like while standing up for their rights in the face of tyranny. #VirginiaRally #2A

Bohemian Grove says it all really, and no-one can deny it because there is footage. Its Satanic, and I don't recommend watching the footage really. But if you need it to prove to you the reality of this world then go ahead.

Exactly; excellent point.
