I am attempting to write a fictional book about the end times. I have the ideas down of what i want in the book. I just need some clarification on some specifics.
The book will begin in present day and have the world coming to a close within the generation that is living.
I will have secret combinations in politics hollywood etc.
I will have a end times servant type character.
Here are some of the questions i have, i will no doubt add more to the list in the future
1.Does the mark come after the antichrist claims to be god? Thats how i seem to understand it
2. I am thinking of having a LDS Nation and a UN Nation in the book. Is this how you see things happening? If so what parts of the United States will be LDS territory?Or will all of the USA be a sort of safe haven. How will they govern themselves? considering they cant buy or sell
3. What is your understanding of the end times timeline?
I seem to know a lot about secret combinations and the bigger picture of the end times, but specifics from scripture are hard for me as i do not have much memorized. thanks in advance for the help i know some of you are really knowledgeable in these areas.
Also please feel free to say anything you'd like to see in a book like this.

Re: Help: Fiction book about end times
Going off of memory...
1. That's a good question! Do you refer to the mark of the beast?
2. Statements within "The Cleansing of America" suggest, possibly after a civil war, invasion, or other conflict, that the entirety of what is now the United States or even North and South America will be a haven that is cut off from the rest of the world. People fleeing to Zion at that point will require divine intervention to successfully cross the seas.
3. Ah... This gets muddied up sometimes.
- Mostly-one-world-government starst when the "dragon" rises again.
- War declared against saints, bad guys prevail for a time. This may be the civil war/invasion/whatever.
- Those who face the saints with swords fall by the sword, Zion is begun and protected.
- Fearing Zion, the other wicked nations wage war against Jerusalem, which is protected by two prophets or missionaries for three and a half years.
- They eventually are killed and lie in the street for three and a half days.
- The most gratifying of all of the Lord's Advents occurs.

Re: Help: Fiction book about end times
Perhaps the UN and depopulation agendas might get very close to fruition.
Perhaps 3 Nephi is a template for how wicked governance might be rendered impotent.
Integrate the scourges and natural disasters--the Lord preaching his own sermons, as it were. There is (non-mainstream) science on which you might base some of the disasters, for instance, weather-affecting Sun cycles, which are discussed in depth by Suspicious0bservers and others who study plasma cosmology.
