Odd question. How do I "live life?"

Post by Aprhys »

In July my my wife took me to the ER when I became nauseaus and started shaking uncontrollably. While at the ER my heart stopped and it took four minutes of CPR and two shocks to get my heart going again. I soent two days in the hospital and was released with a clean bill of health. I was determined to live life to its fullest yet I am back into my normal routine except with debilitating anxiety. My question is how do I live life to its fullest? I have been given a second chance at life and I feel like I am blowing it. So what should I do? What are some things you do?

Whenever possible, never turn down an opportunity to be of service to someone else, no matter how tiny or insignificant to you the opportunity might seem - sitting beside someone in Church that you do not know who may be sitting alone, donating spare change once in a while to someone collecting outside the grocery store for the Salvation Army, etc. Opportunities to do something small to help another are everywhere. Do it daily, and it will change your life.

I used to recommend empowerplus for mental health. The back story behind this is amazing. Now they have turned it into lightening sticks and this product is very powerful. It is a chelated sublingual vitamin. There are so many success stories starting with the creator's own children and it even cured a man who had Parkinson's. It stopped his shaking immediately.

My recommendation, give your life to God - everything. IF you try to save your life you will lose it, but if you lose your life for His sake, you will save it. He will show you the way. Get down on your knees and seek deep relationship. Ask Him what to change and what to do. If you get a thought, follow it. The SPirit will teach you ALL things which you should do if you ask and find relationshiip with God.. First also, realize and know htat God wants to talk to you. HE says if we draw nigh unto Him, He will draw nigh unto us. If anyone lacks wisdom, they can ask GOd and HE gives FREELY and will not upbraid or get angry with you for asking. He is the WAY, the truth and the life.

Interesting join date. :P
Long ago 3/8/80 stood out as a peculiar date. About a dozen times, it’s stood out again.
Perhaps threads posted in the private forum may add insightful context and logical latitudes.

It’s hard to break habits. Think about what your dreams and desires are, there is likely a bit of your life calling embedded in there. Without knowing you personally, it’s hard to give advice.

Experience is always good.
Learning is good, never stop learning.
New friendships

If your stuck in your normal routine try changing up your surroundings and environment. Sometimes that’s simply rearranging furniture or throwing something out or taking a new route to the market.

If You like art or creating things you could explore that. For example, I have an authentic nutcracker from my time in Germany as a kid so I have decided I want to create my own. I researched how they are made and what wood is used so I can stay true to the tradition. I have also made other things as well recently. I have found creating something from nothing is decently rewarding.

If you could do anything you want, no holds on money, distance, time, others, what would you do? What is in your heart but hasn't been allowed to be expressed.?

I would find your mission by praying about it.
Ask What can I do to serve today?
What can I do to follow my mission you gave me?

Do you feel FREE in your life? Free from your negative emotions, negative people, and negative consistent situations?

Try to study psychology and dive deep in doing what you need to do to change any negative thoughts and feelings inside. You are the same person when you die. Do you like yourself?
I do these things to improve myself:
1. Daily 10 minutes writing down gratitude
2. Pray for 10 minutes daily minimum, have a CONVERSATION with God
3. Journal your life, write down your history. Have 2 journals one for venting you dont show people and another for stuff you want others to see.
4. Scripture study for a minimum of 30 min daily. STUDY dont skim.
5. Workout. Even if it's just walking daily. Be careful with your heart though.
6. Find goals that will improve and get rid of the negative parts of your life. You'll have to think and pray about this one.

So once you set up a self improvement regimen you gotta find your mission, to make the best of your time.

I have set up several groups because of what the spirit has told me, preventing suicide usa, giving cards to people in the hospital weekly or monthly, paying for Jesus's return group, going to the temple daily, writing my own book series, creating my own youtube video and improving my tennis game to be college level.

Think of an idea that sets you free, makes you happy and serves others daily or at least weekly. Daily is the best.

I want to be ready for heaven so I try serving daily.

Create heaven on earth and you'll be finding yourself very ready to be there when you do leave this earth.

Good plan and seek diligently with great vigilance such that you don’t miss so many things, as we are likely to do. Halloween eve till Christmas is a peaceful time of year that includes Veterans Day.

Anything you can read or listen to online about mindfulness I think you would find very useful.

It is not really so much what you do, but do it mindfully, joyfully. Savor everything. Even doing the same old thing in a mindful manner will transform it to a new experience. You will also find yourself less likely to keep doing those same old things if you mindfully acknowledge that it isn't really what you want. The other nice thing is listening to others talk about it in say, a YouTube video, is pretty passive, doesn't really require much effort but can be the ones small act that can get you moving down a different path.
