"Tonight after dropping off flowers to the Chad Daybell property- I hugged the Daybell children. I saw them out and I drove up to joseph and he said "no comment. " I said... "no... I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry. I know you are hurting too and I'm sorry for that."
I then got out of my car and He grabbed me so tight and he cried. He said "no one has said that.." He said "everyone hates us!"
My friend then came over and hugged him too.
We assured him that he is not hated. Most of this world is completely confused. It's so hard to understand because we couldn't even imagine hurting another human, let alone our children.
I'm writing this because- They need our love too. Most people are good. I know Chad lied to them. They feel awful. They don't know this Chad who would hurt anyone. They knew a father who loved them. A man they looked up to and could confide in.
They've lost everything. Their mom and now their dad.
I'm praying guys! I am praying for everyone who has a broken heart from this. Please join me in prayer.
Now is the time for us to gather... Give our love to those who are hurting. Justice will come to Chad and Lori."

I would do the same......I know how they feel.....it is beyond tragic...thanks for doing that....

I feel the need to apologize. I did not intend to hurt anyone with my posts.

As for the term "witch hunt", it is what it is, not because of any one poster here. I have an acquaintance - an F.B.I. agent that told me of their job, which was to investigate, all friends, family and contacts of a person of interest out to three layers. This means that if Chad were the person of interest, then everyone that he had contact with would be layer 1. Then everyone in layer 1 would be investigated and found their circle of influence (contacts etc..) which would then be layer 2. Then the 3rd layer (everyone that had contact with layer 2) would be identified but not fully investigated unless the situation warranted it.
So when I say that if its guilt by association, then everyone on the LDSFF, has gotten on the list just by virtue of where that 1st and 2nd layer of contacts have gone (which includes here at the forum). So when I asked how far would you want this witch hunt to go, it encapsulates a LOT of people who the majority of are innocent. But it sure is no fun for anyone, to be the collateral casualty of a murder investigation.

Now for each of us individually, we can each join in the "witch hunt" that is already underway, in which case then it becomes a mob. We should know what mob mentality of anger, disgust, fear, and hatred does for rational decisions and true justice. Just look at the USA now.

Which brings me to my final point here: That I have noticed since the covid lock-down that tempers are hot, and fuses are short. Me included. I am sorry if I have offended anyone. Please forgive me and accept my apology.

The second reason is I found to watch this video is that it spoke about Jason Mow and in the picture he is holding a book called Teancum. I find it interesting that when EmmaLee posted Jason Mow's name, Teancum got all bent out of shape.

Yes, and not only all that, she absolutely was at least aware that her previous husband, Brandon, was being targeted for execution by the group - if not actually driving the hit car (Tylee's Jeep) when he was shot at by Alex. She is most definitely in this up to her neck (and then some).

I truly pray the police/FBI are continuing to look very closely at all these other people who were/are involved in all this - Melani, Ian, Melanie, Zulema, Rowe, Smith, Mow, Sosa, Parrett, Bob ("Singer Guy"), etc. etc. etc. This cult was described many months ago as a "hydra", and that is a very apt description. It really needs to be dealt with soon and thoroughly, or the remaining people will just regroup and find ways to hide their nefarious activities even more. They are the very definition of a secret combination (albeit on a lesser scale than the global ones, obviously - but just as sinister and insidious, and deadly).

So if they are guilty by association, some of them have posted here on this forum. How far are you willing to have this witch hunt go?

These are CRIMES that have been committed, and there needs to be an investigation into who aided and abetted - unless of course, you think Chad and Lori did all this all by themselves (which they did not, as has been shown plenty on this thread). If you are unfamiliar with the entirety of the case, perhaps learn more before making such comments. If some of these cult members are posting on LDSFF, as you say (and how would you know this???) it would make sense that they want us to stop talking about it. Perhaps Chad's and Lori's diabolical reach is even bigger than we thought...

I never said there weren't CRIMES committed, and I am not advocating that the investigation be stopped as others suggest. But, since YOU are praying for it, I am asking YOU how far YOU want this witch hunt to go.
It reminds me of many such occurrences throughout the last 100 years, of which I could enumerate on if need be. .

From what I can recall, but it has been back a few years, I believe Julie R. herself, posted on here claiming this and that. I think I remember at least one other (not of those presently incarcerated) that posted on here as well. If its guilt by association, then all on the LDSFF would be considered guilty just by being on here as this is discussed.

Perhaps you yourself should do more due diligence, before - being filled with emotion - you accuse others with unfounded accusations. I don't think that I need to be any part of the cult you refer to, to know what a witch hunt feels like, or to see the emotion that starts and drives a lynching mob. My ancestors had plenty of that to last for many generations. It would be truly a shame if members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints acted in the same manner as did those who, inflamed with emotion, inflicted so much hurt in generations gone by.

Julie Rowe was as safe as any poster on this forum when she posted. I don't know who else you may know who is on here. I don't know people here by anything but their usernames.

I'm praying for justice for Tylee and JJ, that their killer (s) will be found and prosecuted. I didn't perceive EmmaLee to be on a witch-hunt, I think she wants the same thing. No stone left unturned and I think the majority want that too.

Also, simply speaking about end times and using the reference material we have, which just happens to be VoG and NDEs does not mean the layman is part of any cult. Cults are organized. Me reading a book is not organization. I'm still on the fence about VoG though, tbh. I think there are embellishments, but as a sort of mythic archetypal story, I think it has value. Not in determining end times events, but more of a "hero's journey" sort of fiction.

John pontius is dead. Visions of glory isn't based on his visions, they belong to another man who shared his claims anonymously. The book was probably inspirational for people like Chad who took his ideas and expanded on them.
Maybe those who are worried about the description of a cult being applied to Chad and others, should look up the defining characteristics of cults and then see if they fit Chad's activities and known associates. When I first heard Brandon Boudreaux accuse them of being a cult, I rejected it, but then as more information came out, I could see why he described it as a cult. It's definitely cultish though hopefully it's a small loosely knit "cult."

IDAHO FALLS — Dateline NBC is airing a special Monday night focusing on the latest developments in the Daybell case.

‘What Happened to JJ and Tylee’ will include Melanie Gibb’s first network television interview. She is the former best friend of Lori Vallow Daybell and knew Chad Daybell well. Gibb spoke with NBC News’ Keith Morrison and explained that Lori and Chad “had deception in them.”

“I saw him as the hand and her as the puppet on that hand. They were both, like, gasoline and fire – equally destructive to each other.” Gibb says. “And they both lie. And so, that was their common thread, is that they were really good lying to each other. [It] seemed a good fit, for them to be like that with each other.” (Watch that exchange here.)

Gibb is speaking out after investigators discovered the remains of Joshua “JJ” Vallow and Tylee Ryan in Chad Daybell’s backyard last week. They had been missing since September. Chad is in the Fremont County Jail on two felony counts of destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence. Lori is in the Madison County Jail charged with desertion of children and three misdemeanors.

The show also includes interviews with Lori’s friends, David Warwick and April Raymond, and EastIdahoNews.com reporters Nate Eaton and Eric Grossarth.

He was rightfully afraid for his life, and nobody ever took Charles seriously. No one truly listened to him and followed up with what he was saying and the proofs he had. He did his best to alert people to what was going on, to the threats Lori was making against his life. But I guess because he was a big, strong man, and she was a little, petite woman, no one believed him. Even when he was blatantly murdered last July, the whole 'investigation' was an epic fail - and that failure of authorities emboldened Chad and Lori. They saw how incredibly easy it was to get away with murder, and so felt confident to continue on their spree - which they did. Had the authorities done their jobs properly back at the time of these videos (below - January 2019), it's very likely Charles, Tammy, JJ, and Tylee would all be alive today. The system failed Charles spectacularly - and what a price so many people have paid/are paying because of it. Sad. Maybe somebody will learn some things now and changes will be made.

I think Teancum has been here a long time, and a lot of people use book of Mormon names so I think it's just a coincidence. From the first pages of this thread we had people defending chad and lori who I doubt know them. I assume some defended them because of their own bad experiences with cps and police. Some because they share similar beliefs and a couple because they dislike certain posters and will argue against anything they say no matter what. I think some haven't been following as closely this case and so they aren't aware of how many really are likely involved in knowingly keeping information from authorities which could've kept it from dragging out this long

If I'm not mistaken, most of his grown children, though legally adults, are still fairly young. I can't imagine being so young, with still a kids mindset being treated like this by my hometown.

It would be interesting to know what the youngest son thinks of all of this. I’ve understood that he recently came home from his mission. Being a missionary, he wasn't able to follow news, and I wonder how much he knew. He must be shocked to learn the whole story.
I feel for him, it can't be easy for him. He lost his mom, and in a way he has now lost a dad too.

‘She’s unhinged. It scares the crap out of me.’ New footage shows Charles Vallow’s concern for Lori Vallow

GILBERT, Arizona — Newly released police body camera footage and 911 calls outline how Charles Vallow, Lori Vallow Daybell’s former husband, pleaded with officers to get his wife help.

Footage from the morning of Jan. 31, 2019, shows Vallow talking with Gilbert Police officers outside a hotel about how his wife lost touch with reality. She was expressing strange beliefs and telling people she knew when the Second Coming of Jesus Christ would be happening.

“I tried to support her as much as I could, but it’s gotten really bad lately,” Vallow told officers. “She’s had a break. Says I’m Nick Schneider, I’ve taken over Charles’s body and Charles had been killed.”

It’s unknown who Schneider is but Vallow says Daybell wants him dead, a story he told officers hours earlier after arriving home from a business trip.

“I never thought she would do anything like this, but she’s just lost touch with reality,” Vallow said. “She’s unhinged. It scares the crap out of me.”

Vallow told police in the earlier exchange that Daybell considered herself a translated being and a God who spoke with an ancient prophet and Jesus Christ daily. He said her strange religious views were several years in the making but became increasingly worse.

Vallow said Daybell told him, “I can murder you now with my powers.”

Since meeting with police that night, Vallow said he found Daybell’s car at the parking lot of a school where she dropped of their son Joshua “JJ” Vallow. While there, Vallow said he took Daybell’s keys, phone and wallet.

Vallow said a hotel key in her wallet helped him find her and he wanted to get Daybell picked up on a court order for her to receive a mental health examination.

An officer told Vallow they could not go into the hotel and check on Daybell if employees did not want them to. She said a sergeant with proper paperwork would need to come to the hotel and have Daybell admitted for a psychological evaluation.

“I don’t want her hurt. I don’t want her to hurt anyone else,” Vallow said. “Her religious stuff has gone way off the deep end.”

Police tell Vallow his main focus should be on the safety on JJ.

“If you don’t feel comfortable with her state of mind, then maybe figure out a way to keep him safe even if that means not being at school,” an officer tells Vallow.

Daybell agreed to go to the Community Bridges mental health facility on her own. Due to her apparent normal state of mind, the officer felt it best to not take her involuntarily as the order allowed, according to the report. [Massive mistake - one among many...]

Community Bridges medically cleared Vallow later that day.

In the months following, Lori’s brother, Alex Cox, shot and killed Vallow at a home in Chandler, Arizona, on July 11. In August, Lori took her family to live in Rexburg. By the end of September, Joshua and Tylee had vanished. [and now have been found dead, along with Tammy Daybell]

Yep. It sounds like Charles took her purse to try to get the mental health evaluation assessment, so she'd have to surface in order to get it back. It's sure too bad the community bridges place didn't do more than a cursory assessment. I think that may well have cost those people their lives.

That went haywire when the woman’s husband intercepted the texts and told Daybell he’d go public with them if Daybell didn’t leave his wife alone. Rowe, who said Daybell had also made sexual advances toward her, said that as far as she knew, she and the Arizona woman were the only people Daybell told about a vision he said he’d had of Tammy’s death.
