I hope you don't misconstue my desire for accuracy in record keeping with being pro lgbt. I think that's a mistake to make that assumption. Same sex marriage is legal and so is adoption and having biological children in a same sex marriage, you can't deny reality and records must be as accurate as they can beLuke wrote: ↑December 16th, 2019, 2:53 pmRocknRoll wrote: ↑December 10th, 2019, 2:05 pm Oh no! More for the anti-LGBT crowd to fret about!

“FamilySearch, one of the most comprehensive collections of genealogical data, now “provides the ability” for families to document same-sex family relationships, according to a Tuesday news release from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”
How many posts until someone laments about how The Church is “in apostasy” or “the end is near!”.
Let us see…
Are you pro-LGBT then, RocknRoll?
This doesn't force us to seal the same-sex couple together or their children to two mothers or two fathers. We can easily seal children of these unions who join the church to their father and to their mother, with no names, just as was done for illegitimate children who didn't know their parent, or we can simply not do those sealings at this time and seal the ones in their family lines which are man and woman marriages. If they have their endowment, thats what's important. It'll all be straightened out in the Millennium, when we have more help from the other side. God is in charge, we just help.
