If you feel so inclined to listen to this brother this one time, I think it’s worth it. No explanation here, and the title doesn’t do it justice. It gets better as you watch the whole thing.

Well I watched the whole video and It was very thought provoking. However I feel we still have time to engage in repentance and bettering ourselves as individuals. As for America yeah its becoming more corrupt and crazy , I pray more that christ will come back now, as I grow tiered of dealing with this world we live in. I wish serving missions would be free of charge. Than me and my husband would drop everything to serve. But sadly we need money for food and a roof over our heads. There are always going to be pros and cons to earning money. Unfortunately cant feed the poor and cloth the needy without money. Cant share a meal with someone unless you have enough to feed everyone. Need money to put gas in our tanks to travel anywhere. I cant go to visit anyone if theres no gas in my tank. Ive been foolish with money in the past and just now learning my lessons of doing what matters most with my money. I wish i could turn back time, to be smarter than i am now. But im hopefull the lord will help my family throughout everything. It's our faith in christ that will help us endure and be at peace. So the positive points i got from this message, the lord leads by revelation and we need to pay attention to scriptures and do the best we can to follow God and jesus christ.

I thought it was thought provoking as well. There were some things I needed to hear from him.

I think he would agree that we can still better ourselves and repent. I think what he’s talking about is a type of repentance of living in such a way that may require an entire systematic change of keeping all the commandments, and entirely keeping us unspotted from the world; like he said, our ancestors failed in doing so, and we’ve spent so much time trying to learn or re-learn the gospel in its purity and how to really bring Zion.

I wouldn’t be bummed too much about your lack of funds to serve. I think that may be missing the point. I would build up Zion where you’re at within your own home, neighbors, and community. I’m learning more and more that it’s not really about the money. God can provide all the money if necessary. It is not the answer. Listen again to what he’s saying at 19:00 to about 20:30. We do need to give alms to the poor, etc; but God wants our whole heart and to sacrifice in whatever means we have, and like he said, to use our free agency and not feel like we have to be commanded in all things. We can still do much good directly around us.

I also like the scripture he shared:
40 If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary unto me;
41 And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:
42 Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.(Leviticus 26)
One of the two things that he recommended was that we confess and acknowledge our iniquity and that we have fallen short in keeping the commandments; and also to accept the chastisement we will receive. I’ve been recognizing this more and more. This will hopefully gain His mercy to be spared for what is to come, and to more fully prove ourselves. I’m so far behind that it’s more worth to me right now to focus on loving others and examining my own heart and building up on faith, hope, and charity. That’s the only way to overcome the world.
