When did Sister Nelson say this? Well, President Nelson has promised that April Conference will be UNFORGETTABLE. It's all fascinating to me. What will happen next? Jesus is still out on the time horizon. Not sure how the church will fare when he appears. Getting in bed with the U.N. seems so anti-Christ, but seems to be somewhat their trajectory, based on things said by them.
Remember the weird remarks Sister Nelson made about "What if Christ had already come to meet with his faithful disciples and was on the earth?" What if our leaders are being deceived by some false Christ (kind of like Benjamin Cream and his Maitreya entity) and they are being set up for some kind of Biblical disaster?

She said it on January 10, 2016, at a worldwide devotional at BYU-Hawaii.Mahalanobis Distance wrote: ↑January 6th, 2020, 5:00 pmWhen did Sister Nelson say this? Her actual words - "What if you learned that the Savior had already returned to this earth—that He, as part of His Second Coming, had already met with some of His true followers in several marvelous, large gatherings—gatherings about which the world, including CNN and the blogosphere, knew nothing. If you found out that the Savior was already on the earth, what would you desperately want to do today, and what would you be willing and ready to do tomorrow?"

I actually think this is a great question in general. From one friend to another.
But IMO, it's a bad question to be posed by leadership in a public setting because it's a wink wink and a nod that leaves humble followers confused. I mean, do you have something to say or don't you?
BTW: I'm 100% sympathetic towards folks who want to not share sacred experiences. I'm not bothered by that. But that's not what this is.

Re: UNITED NATIONS TAKES OVER UTAH FACILITY CLAIMS IT'S "INTERNATIONAL TERRITORY"
This quote from Thinker seems to corroborate my theory, written above, that the 100 billion dollars the church has stockpiled was to be given to the United Nations as international aid to undeveloped countries contingent on their actuating and implementing the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals (bribe money?) being pushed and promoted by Sister Sharon Eubank and Apostle Gerrit W. Gong and apparently sanctioned by Russell M. Nelson!

Re: UN takes over SLC
Have you ever had to invoke this privilege? In my experience, embassies are not friendly (even to Americans) and are guarded by locals. I wonder how it would actually go.gkearney wrote: ↑October 28th, 2019, 6:42 pm There is a very sound reason to have places like embassies being the legal territories of the nations and entities they represent. If you ever find yourself in real danger overseas you can take refuge in a United States embassy and the local authorities can't reach you there. Remember this protects Americans just as much as it does nationals of other countries who are here.
So before anyone here suggests that such diplomatic missions permanent or temporary should not exist on US soil or think such diplomatic customs are "not right" best to think again, you will be putting for fellow citizens overseas into potential peril with no means of the protection of the United States should we eliminate such diplomatic niceties as these.

Re: UN takes over SLC
Thankfully no I have never had to seek such privilege in a U.S. or Commonwealth diplomatic mission, I never found U.S. diplomatic missions to be unfriendly to me as an American, they always seemed efficient and businesslike to me. I will say that if you ever need a passport renewed the fastest method to do so is at an overseas diplomatic post. We got ours in Australia renewed in three days at the U.S. Councils office in Perth.harakim wrote: ↑January 16th, 2020, 12:33 pmHave you ever had to invoke this privilege? Now I do understand that you will get a rather stern lecture at the embassy if you lose a passport. I guess you have it coming to you in a way. They want to impress upon you the seriousness of losing such a document.
By way of example consider the fate of the staff of the U.S. embassy in Iran some of whom took refuge in the Canadian Embassy. Such is an example of diplomatic refuge.
