Isn't SLC supposed to become one of the most wicked cities in the country? So, give SL a break, huh? What's a little UN going to hurt when it comes to HPR and quashing inalienable, Constitutional rights/privileges?

Socialism is on the rise and there are fewer and fewer people every day that were staunch supporters of freedom and liberty, or they're getting so old that they can't do much more than bicker. If our children and grandchildren can't, or won't take the reins and stand up for freedom they'll be sucked into tyranny like never seen before in this country.

Uneducated or uninformed members of the church playing with fire (Sharon Eubank and the UN) doesn't help either :!:

I remember back when fluoride was being pushed at every local election in SLC until the residents finally caved in. Then the Light-rail got on the ballot several times until it finally got passed. Now the UN is being invited into the city, supposedly based on an innocent agenda of humanitarian services. But we all know how that goes. Give an inch and someone will take a mile, no voting necessary. Bend over, folks :!:

The UN took over SLC, and I just took over my sovereignty. I am a flesh and blood living soul and a spirit daughter of God. As the spirit in me gives me breath, no man or other soul has any claim to me or my posterity. I am free and sovereign and have all rights granted unto me that are created by God.

God made men. Men made laws. In order for any law to have sovereignty over an individual, that individual must consent.

I don't consent to any authority used over me against my best interest.

Two can play this game. I wonder how it will end up. The legal grounds for the kinghood of Jesus Christ is being precedented right here and now. Thank you. Thank you to the U.N.

Over the past six or so years in her work with Latter-day Saint Charities, Sister Eubank said, the predominant focus has been with refugees.

“If you look at why people are forced from their homes, it’s because of intolerance versus inclusiveness and because of environmental degradation, because they can’t afford to stay or the climate doesn’t allow them to stay,” she said.

How safe is Facebook? May one trust whatever gets posted to be secure? Or do I simply dismiss the stories I've heard about the use of Facebook? You know, like hackers getting personal information?

So before anyone here suggests that such diplomatic missions permanent or temporary should not exist on US soil or think such diplomatic customs are "not right" best to think again, you will be putting for fellow citizens overseas into potential peril with no means of the protection of the United States should we eliminate such diplomatic niceties as these.
Does the US Constitution exist in US embassies in other countries? After all, this is what the US stands out for, isn't it?

Yes within US embassies abroad the US Constitution is the supreme law. This is because diplomatic missions are the sovereign territory of the nations they represent. So the US embassy in Moscow is in effect a little island of the United States with in Russia. The same is true of the Russian embassy as well it is a little island of Russia in Washington, DC.

Is the "United Nations", in fact, a sovereign nation with 'portable' diplomatic embassies which are internationally recognized as "sovereign territory"?

If so...I would dearly love to have the entirety of its constitution, by-laws, and agendas declared openly to those of us whose tax dollars finance its privileges in my public arena.

WHO does the United Nations represent?

The UN represents the elite of the world.

It's ironic. The Unites States elite sold us the 17th amendment to do away with the states government appointments of senators, replacing the appointments with direct elections. (Basically: Neuter the state governments influence in DC in the name of anti-corruption.)

But now we're supposed to trust the UN which is far worse because the representatives of the various nations are appointed however the countries want, regardless of the type of governments, constitutional or otherwise.

----------

Anyways. All secular laws of man are ultimately backed by the use of force (yes, even the ones whose enforcement is "financially incentivized"). The UN has no meaningful force and the US pays all its bills. They know they have no real leverage. So they rely on deception to try and "poison [us] by degrees" until we've sold out sovereignty and birthright for a "mess of pottage" to save the world from all the alleged impending destruction. The good news is that the general public views the UN as ineffective. So we'll see if they ever get their wish.

The United Nations is one of several international bodies which, while not a sovereign nations have been granted the same diplomatic rights. This is why there is a US Ambassador to the United Nations. There are other similar organizations holding the same sort of status internationally NATO is one such example, another more interesting one is The Sovereign Order of Malta (www.orderofmalta.int) which is the last remaining chivalric order. It should not be confused with the nation of Malta. The Order of Malta is sovereign but has not physical holdings.

Other similar organizations with internationally recognized sovereign rights, such as issuing passports and having diplomatic privileges such as what we are addressing here include but not limited to:

African Union
European Union
Interpol
Central Tibetan Administration
Council Of Europe
International Committee Of The Red Cross
Organization Of American States
Mercado Común Del Sur/ Southern Common Market
Economic Community Of West African States
World Organization of the Scout Movement
and of course the United Nations

As for the constitution of the United Nation, it is called the UN Charter, you can read it here https://www.un.org/en/charter-united-nations/ The same web site offers up a host of other UN documents in detail that can be mind numbing in it quantity.

The United Nations represents it's membership, this of course means that it is, more often than not, ineffective as it's membership is seldom able to agree among itself but such is the nature of such an organization.

What gives is that church leaders are betraying church members in the name of LOVE while omitting the safety issue of such so-called altruism. In other words the tares are “chocking” the wheat, the epitome of Satan’s deceit is finally here and shrouded in LOVE and we members are being subjected to it. But “it’s wrong criticize the leaders of the church, even if the criticism is true”, says Dallin H. Oaks.

We need to break out of our cognitive dissonance and resist the wolves dressed in sheep’s clothing!

I'm glad to note the continued interest in this topic. I don't see that the Church authorities are betraying the membership. As I see it, the Church is walking on egg shells trying to maintain good will with people and organizations that if offended by criticism by the Church, even if true (as I believe it is true), would attack the Church in ways that would drastically disrupt its missionary and building programs. I believe the Church is very dependent on favourable recognition by, and good will of the United Nations and those other organizations that gkearney listed above. Perhaps some of you remember President Hinkley's comment of praise for the UN Secretary General Kofi Annan back during the 2002 Olympic Games in SLC, a man who in a 1997 speech at the CFR stated: "Clearly we cannot meet the challenges of the new millennium with an instrument designed for the very different circumstances of the middle of the twentieth century. Make no mistake about it, the anticipated reforms will erode national sovereignty, infringe on personal liberties, and lead the world into a system of global governance."

It got my Irish up at the time, even as my wife and I were on a mission and I was trying to be nice. And I was still recovering from President Hinkley's statement in the October 2001 General Conference that: "Those of us who are American citizens stand solidly with the president of our nation." I had a hard time with that, because I was already convinced that President George Walker Bush was in up to his ears with the globalists and latter-day gadiantons. And I was from day one (911) convinced that the 911 terrorist attacks in NYC & DC were done for a spectacular show, another step in the plan to instill fear into Americans, and probably others as well, and coerce Americans into ultimately seeking and accepting protection from a powerful world wide organization, probably the United Nations, at further expense to our national sovereignty. I believed then and still do now that the powers that be, those puppet masters behind the President, engineered 911. I have no idea if President Bush was in any way directly complicit, but he has to know who is really calling the shots.

I believe, "that even the elite will be deceived".

I'm not sure why some of us have had life experiences which helped/forced us 'to see' into the depths of global deceit perpetrated against the majority of humankind. I would just as soon have lived out my mortal life in ignorant bliss.

I am grateful that I was not raised by a family that imposes luciferian practices upon their children and grandchildren. The Bush Family has its roots in that generational global agenda. The reason why Bush the Younger MAY not know at least some things is, in situations like that there are levels of trust. And even tho' there is a son, he still has to be trusted or not as to the levels of any particular aspect. If a son were to be considered an idiot, or untrustworty, he would be left out of "inner circles" of various parts of any conspiracy.

So you might have an ignorant bliss son or daughter anywhere in such a structure.

One might have such a child 'left out' of the conspiracy. It's beyond my grasp that a family (Bush) which put so much emphasis on publishing Public School reading curricula for "No Child Left Behind" could have idiot children - raised by a few generations of people profoundly involved in financial and political manipulation, educated at Yale and members of Skull & Bones - as 'ignorant' as I am with a BA from BYU.

Why do we elect them?

Yea, I likewise used to believe the same argument you just expressed but I had a paradigm shift. If our present general authorities are Jesuit “tares” spoken of in the parable of the wheat and tares in D&C 86 which is a repeated historical account of the Judaizer “tares” that occurred in the Meridian of time in Matt. 13, then they are the bad guys or miscreants that “choke” the membership wheat and force the church into the wilderness of apostasy.

Under your theory the church leaders are being held hostage and threatened by the Gadiantons in a kind of Jacob Rothschild vs. Ezra Taft Benson scenario which is incongruent with the parable of the wheat and tares where the tares blend in with the wheat, where they can be mistaken for good members that look like the wheat, talk like, dress like and act like the wheat. Remember, the context of the events is happening in the “Kingdom of heaven” or the church by outside impostures that imitate the members after they have infiltrated it, (generational infiltration?)

We’re dealing with “wolves in sheep’s clothing” here that are “among” us. Our church leaders are not just innocent victims of circumstance caught between a hard place and a rock and must submit to the demands of their captors or the missionary program will be sacked and the temples will be confiscated if they don’t comply. Our church leaders most likely have a Jesuit connection somewhere in their history as implied in the parable of the wheat and tares because they are advocating and lobbying for abortion, black-mail and treason! What, how can that be? The answer to that question is that Sister Sharon Eubank who is the first counselor in the General Relief Society Presidency and director of L.D.S. Charities and Apostle Gerrit W. Gong (a former member of the Council on Foreign Relations) under the blessing of Russell M. Nelson are glob-trotting to these international forums and summit meetings where religious leaders of different denominations are hobnobbing with political leaders from all around the world and they are trying to sell them on a joint collaboration (fornication, Rev. 17:2) project where they all work together in implementing the U.N. Sustainability Development Goals which all nations “must” adapt no later than 2030. Three main features of the U.N. Sustainability Development Goals are (1) world enforcement of abortion, sterilization and distribution of contraception devises under the euphemism of “Reproductive Health” and “Family Planning” (like the euphemism of “same-sex attraction” as code for premeditated sodomy), (2) the partnering (fornicating, Rev. 17:2) of L.D.S. Charities with the United Nations in distributing international aid to under-developed countries on the condition that they adopt the U.N. Sustainability Development Goals which essentially is black-mail not charity, and (3) and then there is treason; the U.N. Sustainability Development Goals document totally omits the word “democracy” and “civil rights” and flies in the face of the United States Constitution. How’s that for proactive Christian love? These church leaders are speaking for and behalf of our name—The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Did you give your consent to have these leaders to represent you and your family at these inter-faith and international bodies? Is this what is meant by Russell M. Nelson when he told all members of the Church to “take your vitamins, things are about to get exciting?”

The ancient military strategist Sun Tzu in the 5th century B.C., is famed for the phrase “know thy enemy.” “We have met the enemy and he is us,” if we don’t know that our enemies are the tares within the church we are as good as defeated.

You may be employing some sarcasm here, but it's probably true that the Church hopes to keep missionaries in third world countries by helping the UN achieve their Sustainable Development Goals. If they believe this will work, they are naive. The UN is no one's friend. Remember that fable about the alligator carrying the frog across the river? The UN isn't going to change its spots for the Mormons. Laughable to think they will.

It's hard to imagine there wasn't some plan in mind for all that money - that money that the members were never told about, while it was taught that the church could only operate for a short time without tithes, while the Big Fund was returning nearly DOUBLE the amount of tithing receipts.

Well, President Nelson has promised that April Conference will be UNFORGETTABLE. It's all fascinating to me. What will happen next? Jesus is still out on the time horizon. Not sure how the church will fare when he appears. Getting in bed with the U.N. seems so anti-Christ, but seems to be somewhat their trajectory, based on things said by them.

Remember the weird remarks Sister Nelson made about "What if Christ had already come to meet with his faithful disciples and was on the earth?" What if our leaders are being deceived by some false Christ (kind of like Benjamin Cream and his Maitreya entity) and they are being set up for some kind of Biblical disaster?
