Last year my wife and I went to Carthage. Now, I have studied a lot about the Prophet and I have read the Book of Mormon and the D&C several times, but I am not an emotional person. I walked around and took pictures and we went in for the tour. Right as the tour started I was overcome with grief. I tried to stifle it and was partly successful but it was overwhelming. I told my wife that I just cannot ever go there again, it is overpowering. I can't wait to meet him and see him standing next to the Lord to the shame of all those who hated him, marred his memory and fought like demons to try to prove him false. I have a knowledge through the Spirit that he is indeed a Prophet of God, one of the greatest.
