like what parts feel a bit rough or could use a rework, for one... and what parts of each song are good, etc

You're on MuseScore How awesome is that! I'm not a composer, but I like to play with songs sometimes - put my own words to music that already exists - and have used MuseScore on my computer for that. (It's a lot of work for me, a total amateur.)

The first 21 bars of Blue Star Rising carry me away as if I was in nature, feeling God's creation. The rest of it is good, also, but that first part really carries me away.

I like both songs. I like the fact that they seem to be totally original and don't remind me of any song I'm familiar with. I don't have any constructive criticism at all. Just appreciation.
