I think we've already had the murder of the chief judge with the Antonin Scalia death.

I would disagree with this partly, while we are to be ultimately taken by surprise in the sense of the very hour he arrives, yes, sure, that is what the scriptures foretell. However... The 3 kings knew that Christ had been born based on the signs that were given, while king Herod and many others who were not spiritually in tune and had disregarded the signs didn't see that he had arrived.

I imagine the second coming will be much like this.

For example:

The shootings we are seeing more frequent:
Members- love is waxing cold among man, and they are pulling away from God
Everyone else- this is because of gun control, or whatever psychological reasoning at the time.
