amen
love what I just heard - from one of these "false prophets" -
as many here in the forum would say.

"if you're going a full day without mentioning the word of Jesus
something is wrong"

And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ, and we write according to our prophecies, that our children may know to what source they may look for a remission of their sins.

There is more authentic prophecy to be gleaned from hedonistic, devil-inspired popular music videos than from these quacks.

Zero substance.

isn't it amazing - the mindless Mormon mentality these days :)

only a fool would mock at this.

In some ways the guy is right. You should say Jesus' name at least five times a day: morning and evening prayer, and blessing on your food.

Wow ... pure apostasy here. No one with this mentality can honestly answer the temple recommend question about sustaining the first presidency and the twelve as prophets, seers and revelators and the only one authorized to exercise all of the priesthood keys. No one with mindset can proclaim themselves to be a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ. This is nothing but pure apostasy and in violation of all covenants made with Christ. Very sad indeed!

The category this thread is in is aptly entitled because apostatical language such as this is surely a sign of the times.

Mentioning "the word OF Jesus" or "the word Jesus?" I don't know that simply vocalizing the name Jesus or mentioning his word daily is a goal in and of itself. Personally, I strive for more substantive interactions with diety rather than just simply saying a word daily. No offense but this statement has a bit of a Pharisaical bent to it if taken literally. I think I understand what the statement is getting at. Are there gaps in your life where God is not welcomed? How large are those gaps? Hours, days, weeks, months? When God is welcomed in, what is the quality of that interaction? Are you going through the motions or are you experiencing the genuine blessings from approaching God with real intent and faith in your heart?

I suppose only we can answer these things for ourselves. Consider our ways, and pursue something better.
