If we follow his counsel we will put out good fruit also. Love in our families, service and charity. We will learn of Christ and do his works. We will repent, forgive, love, serve each day. Isn't that what Jesus did (except repent ) so how can we be bad fruit if we follow him?

and what of their stance on LGBT and abortion ?
Any true prophet of God would stand up for what's right
and fight against these things,
instead of DOING NOTHING, like they always do,
and turning their heads, and going right along with the World - BABYLON !

"He who passively accepts evil is as much involved in it as he who helps to perpetrate it.
He who accepts evil without protesting against it is really cooperating with it."
You are always saying how wicked the members are,
actually, I'm not - the scriptures are - if you read them.
maybe "YOU should read the Book of Mormon more"
you just might find that these condemning things said,
and the warnings given, are for us, and for a reason.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, has a lot of good to it, the only issue I had with it was it failed to live up to what the gospel itself was teaching. In that very gospel was the requirements to be the first fruits, saved and redeemed to stand before the Son of man, in his time of exaltation. Whatever comes in the future each saint must abide the light and truth within the words given them, both in the scriptures and words inspired and given by leaders and members, but they must also understand mankind are flawed and do make errors, and should always strive for discerning light and truth. Truly Zion does come in time but it sadly will take a difficult time to bring it forth, each soul shall be measured by it faith, hopes and charity, for without good works faith is dead. I am again leaving a time this forum as have things important to do with overcoming the cup, but I hope the saints come to understand more that this world you live in is the system of the beast the very snare spoken in Isaiah, set not thy heart upon things you own or what you earn, rather let it go in name of the Lord in serving his purposes in taking care of poor and needy the sick and afflicted in building up Zion in your hearts, that ye may be worthy to stand before the Son of man when he is revealed in his glory.

peace unto you all, one day all the mystery's of God will be revealed and all worlds will be in shock and awe. What is important for this generation is repentance, baptism for remission of sin and faith in the Son of God, then must that faith be acted upon in hopes and charity, which is good works in serving others in Love not for gain but for sake of doing what is right and good.

Pleasure's a sin, and sometimes sin's a pleasure. — Lord Byron, in "Don Juan", (1824)

Here is the structure of antimetabole presented in table form:

Fair is foul, and foul is fair — Shakespeare, Macbeth 1.

It's not far-fetched for Joseph to naturally write in these simple patterns. These are single sentences though. The Chiasmus in the Book of Mormon are sometimes so large you don't even realize you're looking at a chiasm. It's quite the leap , to say the least.

Post on the “same day” as per JS verbiage used, which has multiple meanings. 8-)

And a socially distanced comma, pre China Virus.
