As the United States cedes more and more power to global entities, the UN's vision for tomorrow is increasingly likely to be foisted on Americans - and it won't be pretty."

“The best thing that you can say about the United Nations is it’s mostly ineffective and a waste of money,” said Congressman Massie, who started campaigning for an “Amexit” from the UN after the British people voted for a “Brexit” from the European Union. “That’s the best thing you can say about it. So I’m glad that they are somewhat ineffective, but I don’t like that we waste the money.” But that is just the start. “It’s full of dictators, and it’s also something that I don’t think our sovereign government should defer to,” he explained. “For instance, a lot of these foreign relations bills that come in front of us in Congress and the whereas clauses — they might say ‘whereas the UN has said this,’ or ‘the UN decided this, now therefore be it resolved’ — well that’s almost an automatic no for me, because why would I defer to the United Nations if we’re a sovereign country?”

"Massie also noted that many of his colleagues love the UN and would like to see the United States even more deeply ensnared within its grasp. And therein lies the problem. These members of Congress were elected by ignorant Americans who do not understand their own heritage, their freedoms, or the existential threat posed to them by the dictators club. As such, beyond simply ending U.S. membership in the UN, Americans must educate the electorate. Absolutely essential to that mission will be restoring a proper public understanding on the nature of rights, the role of government, the U.S. Constitution, and the danger of phony ideas on “human rights” that require the government to redistribute wealth extracted from others by force. Without that understanding, even an #Amexit would be only a temporary solution."

"It appears one reason "disposal" (of nuclear waste) has been problematic for the United States is that the "suppliers of new nuclear fuel" used their lobbying power and political influence to prevent development and implementation of re-enrichment of "spent" nuclear fuel here -- to assure their own fortunes. Another instance of corruption in the U.S. "system" that is costing us dearly."

"One of the things that makes America great is that we can live most any lifestyle we earn. But if political elites and some well-meaning, if misguided, followers have their way, that will no longer be the case. In the future of their dreams, only a small number of people will be able to "do what they want," following their own paths to achieve happiness. Others will need to learn to love having less and doing less."

"Using the global campaign to combat alleged man-made climate change, they plan to reduce the standard of living of most of Earth's population, deeming thhe changes necessary for "sustainability." The people at the top know that this so-called environmental effort is really the method by which power will be centralized under global governance through the UN, while most of their followers probably think that they are truly saving the Earth. The UN's latest campaign on behalf of the climate, ActNow, lays out in lavish detail the globalists intention to exert control over nearly every aspect of our daily lives, from the food we eat to the clothes we wear -- and all supposedly in the name of saving the climate."

The New American, November 18, 2019, Letter to the Editor

"This country has laws against inciting to riot or inciting to do violence. So why are the laws not being enforced? Maxine Waters (D-Calif) has incited her followers to cause disruption and harm against conservatives and the presidential staff. George Soros has paid demonstrators to riot and protest, and in the process, they have done harm. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) has encouraged Trump's detractors to use acts of intimidation against the president's supporters.
These people have driven conservatives out of restaurants, caused damage to property, disturbed the peace, and committed other crimes. Why is it that there has niot been any prosecution of these instigators? These are real crimes with real evidence. Where is the justice?"

"The council's [CFR] record of treachery, treason, and betrayal - from CFR founders Edward Mandell House, Walter Lipman, and the Dulles brothers, through Soviet agents Alger Hiss and Lawrence Duggan, to pro-communist globalists Thomas Lamont, David and Nelson Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, and George Soros - includes consigning hundreds of millions of victims to tyranny, torture, persecution, slave labor, and/or genocide.....The real problem is that when you have disloyal Americans (whether communist, globalist, or both) running your foreign policy and determining who our "allies" will be, you can count on your real allies getting betrayed and your enemies getting rewarded as allies."

"A side-by-side comparison of the USMCA and the TPP shows extensive overlap. Virtually all of the problems inherent in the TPP are likewise contained in the USMCA."

"The USMCA also establishes a brand new Environmental Committee - subordinate to the Free Trade Commission - in order to achieve the United Nations Agenda 21 objective of "sustainable development.""

"The USMCA - the NAFTA replacement - represents the next globalist step toward the economic integration of the United States, Mexico, and Canada into an EU-style North American Union."

"Chapters 17 and 23 of the USMCA potentially open borders of the United States to the migration of foreign nationals, and provide legal protection for illegal aliens employed in the United States."

"Globalists have repeatedly admitted that they are creating regional governmental entities, with the aim of joining them under a global government, and they are well along."

"Eventually, these regional orders will be interwoven into an overlapping patchwork of multinational regimes on the road to creating a truly global authority, perhaps under the United Nations."

(These statements appeared in the 19 November 2018 issue of THE NEW AMERICAN. The JBS is currently focusing attention on United States Mexico Canada Agreement and the sovereignty-destroying effects of such agreements.)

Global-warming alarmists are open about their plans to institute population controls and other restrictions via global socialist government (Pg. 19)

Before claims of catastrophic global warming became in vogue, climate "experts" warned of a cooling trend leading to a new ice age.....Obviously ominous warnings regarding [global warming] are being issued right up to the present day - perhaps more frequently and stridently than ever. Yet, enough time has now gone by to completely discredit earlier global warming claims. The failurs ot the particular predictions we have compiled in the global warming section is self-evident . For example, we all know that the arctic ice cap has never disappeared during the summer months, despite Al Gore's claim that this could have happened as early as 2013. Moreover, at present, there is no solid evidence that recent claims of impending climate catastrophe are any more likely to be accurate than past claims. (Pg. 35)

In a 1958 speech, JBS founder Robert Welch prophesied the following for the United States:

1. Greatly expanded government spending by every conceivable means of getting rid of ever larger sums of American money as wastefully as possible; deliberate bankrupting of America,

2. Higher and much higher taxes.

3. An increasingly unbalanced budget despite the higher taxes.

4. Wild inflation of our currency.

5. Government control of wages and prices and materials, supposedly to combat inflation

6. Greatly increased socialistic controls over every operation of our economy and every activity of our daily lives.
