There is so much animosity towards religion. We live in a time that so many people worship science (even if they actually know very little of it and understand even less). I just can't see the masses and their governments supporting a one-world religion that requires any real faith.

If there was a mass movement in the direction of a one-world religion (one that actually believes in an intelligent higher power), it would occur in the wake of signs and wonders - perhaps false signs and counterfeit miracles.
