Hi,

I am so glad to find this site. I am 70 years old, and I have been fascinated with the Last Days, and the Second Coming of Christ ever since I was old enough to be aware of these subjects. I was born a member of the LDS church, and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. I have lived in Calif., (many years ago), Missouri, and I am now living in Provo Utah. I have 4 children and 11 grandchildren.

I have studied the Prophesies, both in the scriptures and from the Modern Prophets and other church leaders. I have also studied about the Secret Combinations, ie: the CFR, TLC, BB, Illuminatti, the Freemasons, etc. The more I have studied, the more I have been aware of the huge web that hangs over us, and I only know a little bit about what is really going on, and that is overwhelming.

It is very easy to see the prophecies being fulfilled. I am building up my years supply for the 3rd time, and trying in every way that I can to be prepared.

In talking about the Prophecies, the Last Days, and the Secret Combinations, I have found that there are very few people that you can talk to. Some don't even know what you are talking about, or don't want to talk about it, or are way out in left field. My own family is that way, and I am very limited in what I can say to them. They think I am obsessed---which in a way is true. SOOooo, I am very glad to be able to discuss these things on this forum.

I have had a very strong feeling for awhile that we are in for many trials in the very near future. The biggest feeling I have is that there will be a severe famine. It is of great comfort to me to know that the Lord is in control.

I know that right will win in the end, and that the Lord will return and rule and reign.

I look forward to reading all of your different insights and view points.

Glad to have an older, wiser, guy like yourself in the mix. I too find it hard to talk about things. Sometimes I am awed at what some of my family members say. They are just totally unaware. I've been called an "extremist" for my political views. I merely say that my views are no more extremist than the founders and they only reason they are so "extreme" is because we have slid down a slope and can barely see the top now.

The time is ripe for the teaching now though. They are getting too confident and it is easy for even the untrained eye to see some of their craftiness. All it takes is a humble nudge here and there, patience and time and they will awake to the things which surround them.

Believer, you wrote that you moved from Mo to Provo... What part of Mo? Why to the Wasatch front, may I ask? Do you have a place of refuge away from this earthquake zone?

I have a copy of the book that I'd be happy to mail to whoever sends me a PM first. I have so many books to read that chances are slim it will do more than sit on my shelf for a very long time. Might as well go to good use.

I would do better with the audio myself. i rarely read much aside from sriptures and online material. Its easy to keep working while listening to audio.

It's great to hear from all of you. Actually, I'm a gal. I definately agree that we are in an awful situation . I'm glad for all of your input. I had been on some non LDS sites, and got a lot of info in them, but some thought Mormons were part of the SC, or that our leaders have been or are. Also they believe that George Washington and other founding fathers were in the Illuminatti. So I enjoy this site. I read a lot on here before I joined.

I also have passed the big seven oh as of last March. I am also alone in my family in my acute awareness of and concerns about secret combination and the "coming attractions" and how best to deal with them I think some of us would be interested in reading how you became aware of secret combinations, if you don't mind telling us.

When I was in 5th or 6th grade, I read "Prophecy In Modern Times" by W. Cleon Skousen. That pretty much started my fascination. Also, there was talk in different church and seminary classes about going back to Missouri, but only those that were worthy would be able to go. Back then most of the people, whether LDS or not, were pretty decent people. The U.S. was on top and everything was good as far as I was concerned, although we were in the middle of the cold war. We used to have air raid drills in school. I used to hear about the prophecies and read in the BofM about how the people would be righteous and then become wicked so fast, and wonder how that were possible. I would look around at the people I knew, and thought, "How can t hat ever happen. Of course, now I know. Over the years, I read other books about the prophecies.

In the last 15 or 20 years, I read a lot more books on the subject, both fiction and non-fiction---In fact almost anything I could get my hands on. Up until the year 2000, I thought most of this was in the future. But now the future is here. All you have to do is look around, and you can see that prophecies are being fulfilled faster and faster. Access to the internet has made it easier to get info on these various SC and MGRs, and one site leads to another. I try and pray that I can know what is truth, and what is not, which isn't always easy. Some of it gets so evil that I cannot continue for awhile

Also, over the years, I have read a lot about food storage, and being prepared, and I have worked on that, and continue to do so. Over the years, needs and abilities change, and sometimes that has to be dealt with.

It is interesting to get the insight and input from all of you. Sharing Ideas can help us all.
