Not sure what radio show this is. I found it curious that an FBI trainer is gearing up by storing wheat and making sure his house is in a safe place. Kind of funny how the world is coming around to the old LDS ideals of preparation.

It would seem that preparations are underway for something to happen soon. All signs point to it. She alludes to her FBI friend getting ready with food preps and generator and a safe place for family. FBI training FEMA and/or National Guard. They are militarizing the NG. Something is up.

State and local governments need to stop relying on federal funding. I am thinking about running for the county commission with the goal of making our county self-sufficient. Get the county off the sour milk that comes from the teats of the that fat federal sow.

It is foolish in time of need to want anything from the Feds. The price for federal assistance will be the loss of our cherished freedoms.

With all due respect, how did this turn from "FEMA gearing up" to a brag fest about running for office?

You know those people who no matter what you do or say can always find a way to bring the conversation back to themselves? Seems a little narcissistic. Simply an observation, I may be wrong.

Shawn... I think it was this post that derailed the 'FEMA gearing up' topic.

A lot of people are still encouraging me to run for State Rep. I am still discussing it.. I have friends already running for City Council and the mayor. The people we wanted for county commissioners lost...

Yet, for some reason people think I can win in my district.

You know I am more afraid of winning then running..

I would appreciate prayers as I ponder this. I would have to be away from my family 4 days a week for 4 1/2 months of the year if I do this. It is a HUGE sacrifice for our family, and myself in reality. I keep feeling like I need to do this, but... ahh.. complications...

In fact, I originally thought it accidentally misplaced on this topic - perhaps that is the case. Maybe we could start a "Proud for Rep!?!?" post as it is certainly a topic of ongoing discussion around here.

I apologize. I think FEMA and I think of my friends that were trained in it, left after they were trained, and ran for office. And anyway... not really a narcissist, but I could see how that could be interpreted when I have this on my mind a lot right now since I need to make up my mind. If Chelc or someone that knows how to move the portion of the thread to another topic could do that? I would try to do it, but I think I might mess it up LOL.

Back in June or July I read an article that said that the government had gone to the major suppliers of dehydrated foods and bought all the #10 cans of things like eggs and butter. It took a few weeks for the suppliers to get more. Why??? Why is the government stockpiling food? What to they know? Just what are they preparing for? Does make one wonder.

Why are they dispatching 20,000 troops into U.S. cities? They know the severity of what's coming and are simply looking out for themselves and who cares what happens to the average American.

They're stockpiling food, getting 20,000 troops ready and what about all the reports about American concentration camps? Something is coming. I have a feeling it's not just military (Russian ships in Cuba, Asian troops in Mexico) but I think there is an up coming natural, biological or all three coming and they know it and they wouldnt tell us. There would be no point. My personal feeling is some natural disaster of some kind is coming so all the players of the world chess game, no more like Risk. So all the leaders of the world are setting up their pieces and readying themselves to utilize said natural event to take over the already strained world. Only one of the world powers (i.e. families of the Illuminati and the like) will reign supreme and so they destroy world economies, bring us to a pre-arrainged breaking point, set up the players and wait. I think things are about to get real interesting.
