1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers

Julia Rowe was a "false shepard" from day one, period. But the sheep are so hungry for food that they will follow the "stranger".
You are absolutely required to make a judgement. And that should be made immediately after some false shepard or shepherdess makes their claim.
This is just like Korihor:

But behold, the devil hath deceived me; for he appeared unto me in the form of an angel, and said unto me: Go and reclaim this people, for they have all gone astray after an unknown God. And he said unto me: There is no God; yea, and he taught me that which I should say. And I (Julia Rowe) have taught his words; and I taught them because they were pleasing unto the carnal mind; and I taught them, even until I had much success, insomuch that I verily believed that they were true; and for this cause I withstood the truth, even until I have brought this great curse upon me.

If not one person had followed her deception she would have been " put out of business" before she made it a business. But there are always some that refuse to stand upon their own feet. They would rather be pulled around by the nose.
It's abusive to take an animal accustomed to zoo life and make them live in the real word.

Dear Catherine,

I can feel your sufferings in your words and also your sincere desire to repent...

I would like to testify to you, in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that there is nothing better you can do.

You have practised almost all the steps of sincere repentance.

The ultimate will be to not do it again...Here is a tip if you allow it...

15 men on earth hold ALL the restored keys (2 not being restored) of the holy priesthood. According to the Church website, there are currently 101 seventies, called to be spokesmen for the apostles.

These men, and only these men have a special calling in being witnesses of Christ - even if I believe that missionaries have this calling too, but other topic - (the 15 being special witnesses).

Are other men, or women to receive inspiration(s) or revelation(s) for others...yes, but in specific situations, and certainly not to be made public...for the Church as a whole...no.

As members of the Church, and as we have been invited to do, we may use social medias to testify of Christ...But this is it...We must not use these medias to warn, to teach, or to invite people to act in given purposes.

The brethen have been called to do so. The scriptures are here to testify of these things. The Church offers so many medias and content...

Youtubers and others, may be at risk to give power to the adversary, soon or later...if they go beyond the invitations given by our leaders...we know so many already...

Thank you Catherine, for your example in being a disciple of Christ.

There are two types of people in this world: Those that can admit to sometimes being fooled, and those that are liars.

Whether she started out with good or bad intent, whether it's all just a result of mental illness, etc. I don't know. What I do know is that Julie Rowe is just one of the latest in a long line of deceivers within the church. She is far, far from the first. Sadly she won't be the last.

Frankly, she's not even particularly consequential compared to some others. John Koyle has been dead for 70 years, but there are still people today that buy into his false prophecies. If there's anything to be learned from the experience, hopefully it's how to better recognize the red flags sooner in the future.
